I agree with Champion - that has been by far my fav sports bra. Whatever you choose, make sure it hooks in the back (or front) and has adjustable straps. Also, the band should be firm around your ribcage - if it is loose at all you will bounce . . . and NO one piece sports bras - those are a big disaster for busty chicks.

You're right, MFP is not for kdis . . . . but don't you think some kind of calorie monitoring would be a good idea? He would be considered overweight if he was an adult. . . this is not jsut a few lbs to 'grow in to' we're talking about here.

I completely agree that 'dieting' is not for kids. Teaching them how to monitor their nutritional intake to feel healthy and strong is something completely different.

Would he be willing to track his food on MFP? If not to lose weight, then to maintain? I suspect that if he is that heavy at 11 he will continue to gain unless he begins to monitor it very carefully. I also have to agree with the tough love on physical activity. I have a family friend who made his daughters take track in…

Hello from the future ;-) That's adorable. I visited Australia in college and I think we arrived the day before we left :-D

I have been focusing completely on diet - I've only taken a couple of short walks in the month I have been tracking. Honestly, I'm not even letting the hypothyroid be a factor in my thoughts on losing weight - I think losing weight is hard and requires lots of discipline and concentration no matter what the circumstances.…

Have you bought new clothes yet?

I'm hyopo and on levothyroxine . . . I've been tracking in MFP for about a month and have been losing consistant with the goals I have set.

What a great idea - wonderful solution to a real problem!

This blog is written by a friend of mine . . . this particular blog is a part of a brest cancer awareness seriries but it is mostly about personal responsibility to health and and I think really great information in regards to age and weight gain. http://blog.secondchancefit.com/2012/10/14/breast-cancer-awareness-birthday/…

That is fantastic!

I've recently started drinking a protein smoothie for breakfast, I've found that I'm much less hungry throughout the day. But, it's possible you are in a growth spurt and really do just need more calories - you may want to work with a doctor or nutritionist - your needs are probably different than those of us who are well…

Maybe he can see something has changed . . . but the clothes are frumping it up? Go get a new outfit that shows off your new figure and see what happens. ;-)

Also . . . I think a good blender is key . . . I have a magic bullet and it's great.

I've tried a few different versions but so far my favorite is: 1/2 cup coconut milk 1 cup water 1 scoop protein powder 3/4 cup frozen berry medly (blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries) Adding 1/2 a banana is good . . . and I tried adding frozen pineapple today and that was a nice chage as well.

I think both pics are sexy . . . but great work - you look fabulous! :)
