31 lbs in 9 months (Down from 154 lbs to 123). Then I got pregnant and gained 37 lbs. I had lost 33 of that in 10 months :)

A banana. Why? Because it is not time for lunch just yet :)

The 2 doctors who diagnosed me with PCOS had the same recommendation, to keep my weight in check and make sure I don't put on too much. As long as I am on a healthy weight, I should be fine.

I have been back to my circuit training since 6 weeks pp and though it is shrinking but I am no where near my pre-pregnancy tummy :( I am only 2 kg away from pre-pregnancy weight but the tummy is still far from there. It will take time, no magic exercise here, just persistence. ( I am 10 months pp btw)

I get that almost once a week. When it happens, I just eat! When it passes, I make up for it the following days by eating a bit under.

Awesome! I do see the 6 pack coming. Great work.

Well, my baby is 4.5 months old. I have gained 17 kg, lost about 8 right after and then 2 more. I have not lost any for about 2 months now. I have been counting non stop, back to exercise since 6 weeks pp but with no luck. I am so discouraged but I will give it more time, I have no other option.

It was not an appetite issue for me as it was about craving sweets. I am certainly not as hungry as I was while pregnant. If you have a normal supply, I find it to auto-adjust with demand. At the moment, my baby prefers the bottle so I am pumping twice a day and bf'ing him during the night and he gets formula a couple of…

I have already passed 35 lbs. I am 38 weeks today and have put on 35+ lbs. I have been gaining over 2 lbs per week for 2 weeks now. Two more weeks till due date. I don't know how much more will I be gaining.

I don't think it's reasonable of your dr. to ask that. So what if you gained a few extra pounds, you baby needs nutrients and so do you. I have gained 55 lbs in my first pregnancy from eating very liberally and zero exercising. I am very cautious this time around, logging from day 1 and working out until now (at 37 weeks 3…

37 weeks and I have reached +33 lbs In this past week alone I have gained 2 lbs. This is a total deja vu of my first pregnancy! Last month I start adding 2-4 lbs per week. Ugh!
-
At the rate I am going, I highly doubt it will stop at 35 lbs. I hope it does though!

Ok so I passed the 30 lbs gain :( SW 124 lbs CW @36 weeks 155 lbs Total gain 31 lbs

With my first, i craved lemons and cucumber. I would have several lemons a day and bags full of cucumber. With this one, it's biscuits! I have boxes of biscuits especially McVities biscuits, stashed in my desk drawer at work and I would just go wild some days and then on other days I would have 3 -4 (different types. I…

Don't feel so bad. We all have days like that. Giving in to cravings occasionally doesn't hurt. In fact, I like how bad it makes me feel because I would stay disciplined for weeks and weeks after that because of how guilty i felt, lol. I am almost 36 weeks and have given in to cravings so many times. Yes i would attribute…

It must be water weight. Drink plenty of water and wait for a few days, it will probably wash off of your system. I was so bloated the entire first tri. Once it passed, things reverted back to normal. Then I started to put on real weight lol.

Congrats on your pregnancy and welcome to the group! I am pregnant with my second and due July 10th. I have also gained like crazy with my first (55 lbs) and it took me almost 2 years to lose them. This time around I am counting my calories and have been walking and keeping active all throughout my pregnancy. I have gained…
