  • i'm starting a Whole100 today. i did a W30 back in september and october, but really fell off the wagon november and especially december. i'm just ready to feel good again. i'm doing 100 days mainly to keep me accountable to myself for a longer period of time. hopefully to NOT go back to bad eating!
  • i'm on day 32! but i'm going to splurge and bust it up good tonight with a birthday dinner at one of my fav restaurants for my daughter in law! i'm sure i'll regret it tomorrow, but i'll be back on the program tomorrow! i lost 16 pounds during my first 30 days
  • thank you all! i am walking 2 miles a day right now - going to get that up to 3 pretty soon. i will start doing some resistance/weight training in the near future. i know time is probably my best bet. i'm trying to drink a gallon of water a day. i would really like a faster weight loss because i'm not a patient person! but…
  • i'm here - DAY 29 !!!!!
  • i'm on day 17 - haven't weighed since day 1. i still want to! and i'm also logging all my food. i just want to be able to look back and see what i ate.
  • count me in - i'm on day 16
  • i'm on day 16. its actually getting easier.
  • i'm on day 11 - been kinda draggy this week. i'm hoping i can find some energy this weekend! i'm still "planning challenged" - i hate planning. so far, i can only make myself plan 3 days at a time. but i'm still doing it. and egad - cooking - i haven't cooked at home every night since my kids were at home - and they are 30…
  • i have a saggy belly and when i get an irritation, i use diaper rash medicine. and when i know i'm going to be hot and sweaty, i use it as a preventative. it works!
  • how is everyone doing? i'm on day 9. not feeling the best, but not any worse. still trying to get used to cooking every afternoon, since i haven't in the last 15 years! eating out was SO much easier! and getting used to grocery shopping REGULARLY and having to PLAN! that part is killing me!
  • i'm on day 9. i think day 6-7, especially 7 was the hardest. i hit a wall and couldn't hardly make it up the stairs at work! thank goodness that only lasted 1 day! i'm ready for the 'feeling good' phase to hit! and i've really had to make myself not get on the scale! i'm going to try to make it the whole 30 days!
  • i just started whole30 last week and it suggests not weighing for the full 30 days. its really really really hard not to step on that scale when i walk past it! when i get to a more maintenance phase, i'll probably go back to daily
  • YES! a few years ago, i walked 3 miles every day and 5 miles each saturday and sunday. i lost 30 pounds in about 6 months and didn't really change my diet. of course, i fell off the wagon, and am just now trying to get the walking thing back to be a habit - along with changing my eating as well. YES! walking works!
  • i'm on day 3. the first 2 weren't that bad. but i'm getting that grouchy rotten feeling coming on. i'm hoping to feel better by next week too.
  • i'm on day 3 of my first time. i plan to complete this one. have a couple of days break and then do it again. that should put me close to thanksgiving. then i'm going to try to stick with 'real' food and eat my fav's sparingly. then i'll go back on the plan until close to christmas. and then start over again january 1. i…
  • i'm going to do a couple of months on WHOLE30 and then do a combo of clean eating / paleo. i have a horrible sweet tooth and i dearly love bread. so i really need to be super super strict for a whiile. Whole 30 is going to point me in the right direction. i know that Whole30 is a way of life - and i'm hoping to lose the…
  • i'm actually starting whole30 today. need to lose about 100 pounds. going to take it 1 day at a time with whole30's help! please add me. maybe we can start a group!
  • i started thrive yesterday - have about 100# to lose.

  • I don't care what others say - I lost 9 pounds the first week off diet dr pepper. I was drinking a 2-liter per day. sometimes more. I quit and started drinking water - I know that the 9 pounds was probably water-weight, but hey - it has really helped me stay focused drinking only water. I know the carbonation and caffeine…
  • p.s. I'm happy that I've maintained, but frustrated that I seem to be trying so hard with no success. no loss is better than a gain! ;)
  • my food diary is very skewed for the past couple of weeks, due to my not logging - which is probably part of the problem. I think the reason for the quick weight loss was due to the fact that I quit (cold-turkey) diet dr pepper and went to straight water - approx. 3 liters per day. and the fact that I went from…
  • my sister in law is a lifetime WW member. she's maintained for about 25 years now. good for her. but she drives me insane with making faces and 'I wouldn't dare eat that' because of fat content. she is a OCD fat-free. I have yet to convinced her that some stuff just doesn't taste right with fat-free cream cheese, fat-free…
  • gotta bump this so I can keep reading. very interesting! but it might explain my nothing loss for the last 2 weeks - if my scale cooperates when I weigh in the morning!
  • thanks for all the suggestions. I filled my water bottle again (24 oz) for the drive home. had a roast beef sandwich, then treated by 'sweet craving' with lime sherbet and diet sprite. only went over 50.... > I've weighed the same for the last 2 weeks (I weigh on Saturday). if the scale is still 'stuck' in the morning,…
  • I don't want to have to add it manually. but I guess I will. not much loss YET - but I'm still proud of it!
  • I've restarted (in august) for the LAST time. I've got to do this! good luck! we're all in this together!
  • do it while you're young. I've heard that my entire life. but now I really really wish I had listened!
