If you are a beginner lifter, you can still gain some muscle while on a caloric deficit. So I would recommend eating 250-500 under your TDEE (that's .5-1 lb per week weight loss) and watching the weights you're lifting. If you notice the deficit is hindering your lifting progress, eat a little more. I wish there was a…

Lift: Tues, Thurs, Sat. I don't have a set schedule but I rotate (basically SL 5x5): squats, benchpress, deadlift, pullups, bent over rows across those three days. Most lift days I do get my whole body though or will throw in some curls or L-sits on occasion. No idea how people lift more than 3-4 days a week; it just isn't…

I used a bodpod once when I was still in college and I really think it was accurate. I used my results to recalculate my BMR and TDEE. I have also tried those scales where you hold a controller thing with your arms straight in front of your body, and those were really unreliable and put me 15% over my actual %...So the…

It's the little victories that count! Keep it up!

Slightly uncomfortable, but more flattered than anything that a stranger has noticed. And even if you haven't actually lost any weight, it's still a compliment. I'm ok with it!

I was actually going to go tomorrow and get a gym membership. Thanks for the added support!

I used to have a mini trampoline for exercise purposes. I didn't feel like I was getting an adequate workout from it, and it just made me dizzy so I stopped. But maybe you will have a better experience at Skyrobics!

I log everything that has caloric value or macronutrients. So that's all fruits and veggies. Something I don't log is tea or coffee (so long as nothing is added to them)

I have mine public. If you are embarrassed to let other people know what youre eating, then you are defintely doing something wrong. The accountability is important to have, do make your diary public. As a side note, though, Im not sure that people actually check others' diaries. I never do

Yes. To lose weight, you must know what you are putting into your body. The quote, "Losing weight is 80% diet, 20% exercise." is true
-
I take other people's weight loss/fitness advice into consideration, even though I dont want to. Ive bought into the Atkins diet, and the HCG diet in the past. Neither of them were effective for me. I stick with what makes me feel best physically/mentally etc.

Its definitely weird when i pull out my lunch on campus: brown rice, tons of steamed veggies, and a pat of fake butter. Everyone else has junk food from the cafeteria. Luckily I havent been picked on, in quite a while, for what I eat. My friends just kind of this what I eat tastes like cardboard but I think its good :P…

Well you cant reduce fat in just one area. Spot reduction is a myth. If you lose fat, it will be from wherever your body wants to get rid of fat.

It is reallly sugary. I think for one bottle, its like 56g of sugar. I wouldnt rely upon them.

That's awful, a scale that talks. Burn it. 1-2 weeks weigh in is a good amount if time
