  • You can add me as a friend. I was like you, I started trying to get in shape many times only to quit over and over. Today is my 145th day in a row on MFP, more serious than I have ever been. I am only losing about one pound a week but I am ok with that. Loss is always better than a gain for me! My highest weight is just a…
  • If you do, post the blog. I'd like to watch the process. :)
  • Glad you get to get back out there! :) Sending well wishes your way!

  • I asked this question to my husband the other day while we were watching! And he told me they do it while they are on the bikes. Can you imagine if you got it on the guy behind you though. haha.
  • Well you didn't tell me I was going to cry and that coldplay song didn't help! haha Very nice video and you are right, having support, even if it is just one person, means so much! Very happy for him!
  • Very cool, had to share on facebook :)
  • Fries! Especially cheese fries.
  • That's so awesome! Congrats to you!
  • Awesome! The longer you do it the more addictive it becomes. I am coming up on almost 3 months straight and everything is starting to become a habit now :)
  • Me! My husband is in the army and we are currently stationed in Hawaii. I will send you a friends request :)
  • I wasn't aware the Vivofit could be used with MFP. Thats good to know. I had added all three of these Fitbit, Misfit and Vivofit to my Amazon wishlist. And now I am just down to Fitbit and Vivofit after reading this feedback. I also liked the accessories of the Misfit but they may be all it is, pretty accessories. Thanks…
  • From West Virginia, Lived in Raleigh, North Carolina for 5 years and now I am in Hawaii for a few years. :)
  • Great job!! :) Keep it up!
  • Awesome!! :D
  • Wuggums- kinda unrelated, but WOW awesome weight loss!! :) And does anyone else notice that when you wreck it kinda seems in slow motion? haha I fear the wreck that is awaiting me the first time I try a downhill trail. :P
  • I feel attractive because I have a great personality and I am friendly to everyone I meet. I like everyone until they give me a personal reason to not like them. I am working on the physical part and every day that I have a good day of eating and/or go on a bike ride I know I am getting one step closer.
  • I started out with a little over 90 to lose. You can add me as a friend. Once I get down to my current goal I will probably add another 20 pounds in there to lose so all together I have over a 100 pounds to lose too.
  • I have more to lose than you but you can add me as a friend I will try to keep you motivated. :) I've never been as serious as I am right now about getting in shape. The best thing I have found for myself is riding my bike. It's fun and doesn't really seem like a workout. Well until I am going up-hill and it's hot out and…
  • The first physical activity I started with was walking and then I started riding a bike shortly after. My first ride was only 1.5 miles and I was so embarrassed. It's been a little less than two months and my longest ride to date is 11 miles. I ride atleast 4 days a week and for atleast 40 minutes each time. On days I…
  • Thanks for sharing this! It's very inspirational. My husband is super fit and competes in all sorts of bike races (both road and mountain) and last weekend we went to a triathlon for him to compete in. I told him if he does it again next year I will compete as well. Your post has inspired me, I can do it! I also love to…
  • I started with 91 to lose and now I am down to 85 to lose. I just have to remember to stick with it every single day! **Also by my "joined" date you can see this isn't my first go around. But I have never been more serious than I am now. :)
  • I am a newby but this is my bike, I love it so much! Motobecane Fantom29 [/url]
  • You can add me as a friend (I am only 10 days in) and I am also a gamer. Mostly MMORPGs. I find it very helpful to have friends on here that are active and log on everyday. Viewing other people's food diaries really helps me too (and gives me ideas). You can do this! :)
  • Hi! I am new to the group and new to cycling. :) I am 33 years old and just started riding again after about 20 years. My husband is an avid bike rider and has been competing in races since high school. He was very encouraging when I said I wanted to ride and has been very patient with my slow pace and learning process. We…
  • Thats great airdiva1! I found a place yesterday that is a short ride from my house so I only have to be on a road with cars for a few mins. I think I am going to start going there everyday. It's mostly flat with very very little inclines. I am looking forward to it. Tomorrow we are going to a mountain bike race, I am not…
  • Thanks for those links, I am checking it out now. :)
  • Yea I am shifting some, my husband is usually riding right beside me and if I forget to shift or shift in the wrong direction (hey it's happened) he reminds me. The last bike I had was when I was 12 or 13, then I stopped riding. Picking it up again at 33 has a bit of a learning curve on the gears, especially since my last…
  • @airdiva1 we have alot in common! I need to get out and ride around the neighborhood but I currently live on a military base and the traffic is quite heavy sometimes and people like to speed. It worries me. However there is a place on base with little to no traffic and a running trail that has these really fun little up…
