My theory with restaurants and portions is: you don't want to eat it all, bring the rest home. I'd rather get a lot of food and have two meals out of it then pay a bunch of money for a tiny plate that I could have made for half the price at home.

Yes! Chiang Mai Thai was what I was referring to! Thanks for all the suggestions guys :) Yeah, I've been to Hard Times once (since it's practically on campus) but it's not really a sit-down restaurant to go to with family. I've decided to check out Galactic Pizza in Uptown -- pizza and pasta that's made with all…

Focus on getting sugar from 'natural' foods (aka fruits & veggies) and don't care about what MFP says. I think I have been over my sugar limit EVERY SINGLE DAY that I have tracked and I couldn't care less. I haven't had any negative side effects. However, if you're eating tons of processed foods with added sugars, I would…

^THIS. Chicken is so easy. Literally just put your favorite seasonings on it and bake, grill, or pan fry it. I have a george foreman grill that I use ALL THE TIME so I often will grill up a chicken breast (plain) and just add it to salad or pasta or a wrap. The possibilities are endless! Probably the #1 thing on my list is Greek yogurt :D after that... Eggs Egg whites Low fat cottage cheese Shredded cheese (usually reduced fat) Light string cheese (great snack) Ultra thin cheese slices (I don't need more than one for a normal sandwhich...get sharp cheddar for more flavor) Veggies (carrots, lettuce,…
