There are so many things that can affect the weight. Time of day, if you have eaten a lot of salt, etc.... The numbers don't matter that much. It's more how you feel. Also make sure to take your measurements. That's where you can really tell a difference. I went through a six week period of intense exercise and did not…

I am so sorry for your loss. I have not been in your shoes but I have close friends who have. I would advice you to reach out for help. Particularly with people who have been where you are. I can't say it gets easier but you can move on. Be very gentle with yourself and allow yourself to grieve. I have found in times of…

If you've never been hypnotized it's kind of a cool experience. I'm not sure about the long term results but if they give you a recording of the session I often use those when I have trouble sleeping at night. Put me right to sleep. You may be doing nothing wrong. There are other measures than just the scale. In the past three weeks I have been working out 6 days a week and watching m calories closely. The scale has hardly moved but I've lost 3 inches around my waist.

Your probably at a plateau. It happens from time to time the key is don't give up. You might want to try to switch your exercises up and get your body thinking differently. It will work out just takes patience.

45 and really enjoying this. Just started MFP 2 weeks ago. But so far right on track. Started getting fit in January and am about 25 pounds lighter but I'm in so much better shape than I was before. I am constantly amazed at how far I have come fitness wise. The scale does not show my progress as much as I'd like but I…

I get to hung up on the numbers so I try to weigh only once a month. Because I found that it would really affect my mood for better or worse just by the numbers on the scale. I know when I'm doing well by the way my body feels or if my clothes are loose or tight. If I weighed every day it would drive me nuts!

Wow!!! Almost looks like a different person.

Can really see it in your face. That's the way it always seems to come off with me from the top down.

It's my first week too. So far I'm still not exactly sure what I'm doing but I am enjoying myself. Maybe we can support each other.
