Wow, I'm restarting today too! I think I'm right back to where I started :( Anyway, I could use a new friend, and I will be a supportive friend too.

Thanks Nettie (funny...that's my nickname in real life) and Kah! I appreciate the support. You know, as long as I log in and keep up with logging my food and exercise, I do pretty good. I just kind of lost the motivation to do it and now I've take a HUGE step backwards. I guess the good news is that I finally came back.…

I finally got back on track and did a 2mile walk.

Hi, I really am in need of motivation. This is going to sound like I'm whining, but I am just so sick and tired of my fat. I lost about 40 pounds a few years ago with WW...gained it all back. I started strong on MFP, but I never lost more than about 20 pounds. I finally said to hell with it. Now, I've gained most of what I…

You should be so proud. Fantastic!

I come from a family of only two siblings (my sister and myself). I always wanted a bigger family because the chaos and noise intrigued me. Also, if you get ticked at one of them, there is always someone else to hang out with. lol I really wanted to have 3 children, but I was open to the possibility of more. However, it…

Way to go! You are an inspiration.

Good job on the loss of 18 pounds!!! I totally know how you feel. I have been here for 10 months and I've only lost 18 pounds. Actually, I lost 25 pounds, but I had surgery and could do NOTHING for 6 weeks and I gained. When I realized I was gaining instead of getting on track, I just ate whatever I wanted. lol Anyway, I…

Wow, this is a problem I don't have!!

I use a stationary bike a lot, and I always go with the lower number. MFP gives way too many calories for the bike ride. :noway:
-
Not to be a jerk...but, if you already know that you're going to do it & you know it'll work & you know you won't ever gain the weight back because you already eat healthy food and exercise, then why are you asking?
-
I had the same thought :)
-
You look fantastic. Congratulations!
-
I think you should just fix your plate first! Of course, making extra would probably work too, but I understand why you were sad.
-
I was going to join in, but looks like we fell below the line

If you are only eating 1200 calories and then burning 650-1000 then you aren't eating nearly enough. I know it doesn't really make sense to "eat them back" because you think that's defeating the purpose, but MFP has already given you a calorie deficit. I would eat more and see how that works out.
-
Just be patient. If you are eating fewer calories than you are burning, you will lose. I am a slow loser, so I know it's hard.
-
There is no way you are overweight!!!!!!!!!! I would pay serious money to look that good!!!

My victory was finishing my whole workout when I wanted to stop halfway. I just kept saying, "Just do 5 more minutes and then you can stop..."
-
I'm saying this in a loving tone: CHILL! :) it's only been two weeks. You've had great succuss, but there are going to be LOTS of bumps in your road...Thanksgiving, Christmas, birthdays, jelly beans (oh, those are mine) lol A lot of the first pounds was water and now it's going to start being harder. If you get upset about…

I really struggle with sweets as well. One thing that sometimes helps is to have hard candy...peppermint, butterscotch, etc., on hand. It takes awhile to eat that, and that helps.
-
Oh my gosh, I do this same thing. I thought I was the only one!! One day I was eating dinner at a friend's house, and I felt someone watching me. I looked up, and she was staring at me. She said she had never seen anyone eat like that. lol

I try to log honestly, (even when it's bad) but sometimes I do forget to finish. I did have one "friend" who was constantly commenting when I didn't have enough fruit or vegetables (to suit them), so I unfriended them. I found myself not wanting to log things because I didn't want to get ticked off by their comment. The…

Well, that's hard because everyone is different. What works for one, might not work for someone else due to time, finances, etc. I think the best thing is to just start somewhere. If you haven't been exercising, start walking or riding a bike. As for the "diet", just start looking for ways to incorporate fruit or veggies,…

You were beautiful in the "before" pictures, and you look great now too!! Wonderful progress!!
-
Great job! You've come a long way and are very inspirational!

OMG....donate some to me!

When you put your info into mfp, it automatically puts you at a calorie deficit. So, if you do a lot of exercise, you might want to eat more to "eat some of the calories back", so that you don't go too low on your calories.
-
It doesn't matter how short the person is...800-1000 calories is too low! So, that's problem #1. And, if she's exercising and burning some of those and not eating them back, her body may be starving. Also, this person said they only wanted to lose 10-15 pounds, so that means she probably has very little to lose and that…

We've all been there...well, I know I have! Get up, dust yourself off, and do things right today. You can do it!
