  • Congrats to you as well and for waiting until you lost a tonne of weight. It is true that your stomach looks a lot worse after a breast reduction. My clothes used to hang well, hiding my midrift. Now I have to be very cognizant of how my stomach appears in clothes which I did not really have to do before (since I never…
  • Not sure if you were asking me, but I started as a 34H/HH. I now wear a 34DD (some call this an E). A 42C has the same cup size as a 34F. Since department stores do not adequately stock larger cup sizes (particularly in North America), many women compensate for this by going up in the band size. A larger band size = larger…
  • Hi this is an update from the OP. So I finally got that BR and I'm 6 weeks post op. I hadn't lost weight prior to getting it which is strongly recommended but I feel (and look!) a lot better. They removed 3.5 lbs off my chest! I am just about to start a running routine because I've been given the okay to resume regular…
  • Trader Joe's light sweet and salty popcorn! So filling, so good, and pre-portioned!
  • Youtube or use a proxy server.
  • You should set up a camera in case you are eating in the midlde of the night while asleep. There is no way you aren't losing weight on such low calories while also working out 3 hrs a week for 8 years.
  • If it works for you, there is no problem. If you don't have appetite problems, you don't need to worry about this 10 calorie per hour stuff. The fact is you can consume your calories at any time per day and your body will burn through it, and be at deficit.
  • Strong first post. Are you the author? It sure looks like it. I hate it when people come on here spamming us under the guise of helping someone with a legitimate question.
  • First, it's great you are motivated. I just read a thread about a 40 year old who was saying "ah, life after 40 where motivation is more difficult than ever." Secondly, try set a calorie goal with your doctor. My fitness pal also has tools to help you set a calorie goal in the "Settings" section under "Update diet/fitness…
  • It was her party. Don't worry about it. I've lost 10 lbs and nobody has noticed. I barely notice myself, to be honest.
  • I am a 34 H and want to lose 55 lbs overall. I was a 36 C in grade 7 and a 36 GG at age 18, so they aren't going ANYWHERE. (UK sizes) They are already sagging and I have stretchmarks. I am 27 years old. My plan is to lose all the weight and then get a breast lift to get rid of the excess skin. Breast lifts cause scaring…
  • I'll tell you a story. I had Popeye's for the first time, then left the country for a year. One of the things I was most looking forward to is trying that amazing chicken again. KFC grossed me out and Popeye's was REALLY good. When I came back, I went to Popeye's. It was DISGUSTING. I couldn't even finish it. I hadn't lost…
  • I looked at your diary. I do see something wrong. You have "homemade fajita tacos" and none of the ingredients listed. There is no way it is accurate unless you typed in the recipe yourself, cooked it the same way and then logged it. It's best to minimize estimation and to actually break out the scale and weight…
  • every week without fail: almond milk eggs flat-out low carb wraps spring mix salad deli meat (ham, turkey or salami) canned tuna bananas chicken thighs onions, tomatoes, peppers Everything else varies.
  • This weekend I will cycle to cinnabon (5 miles return). Eat the cinnamon roll. Then eat a light dinner. Boom, fits my macros. Oh yeah.
  • Another day Breakfast Nothing Lunch homemade ham sandwich (350 calories) diet coke chips (150 calories) Dinner Large pizza (2500 calories) Bag of two bite brownies (800 calories) Total: 3800 calories 19 F 197 lbs. I did this on the regular. I remember my exact weight because I did this the night before joining weight…
  • DO THIS - Shredded Chicken Tacos layer chicken thighs on the bottom 1 can of rotel (10 oz) 6-8 oz of salsa cook on low for 6-8 hours. shred with fork. put in corn tortilas. VARIATION substitute 1 package of taco seasoning for rotel.
  • ALL GRANOLA BARS. Not filling at all and seem to stimulate my appetite for junk. Protein bars are where it's at now.
  • I just want to add that I am so thoroughly disgusted with chain restaurants because the food is so unhealthy and not even that good. If I were skinny and ate out only twice a year, I STILL wouldn't eat at Chili's, TGIF, Cheesecake Factory, PF Changs, Applebee's or Red Lobster. The crap they pawn off as healthy is loaded…
  • Cheeseecake Factory Chicken Club. I found out too late that it was voted one of the top ten "Unhealthiest Healthy-Sounding Foods" on some website. The innocent chicken club with no bacon or avocado has over 1000 calories and like, 60 grams of fat. Oh, and that doesn't include the fries. I ordered this asking them to hold…
  • Dedicated relaxation time. :) Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (it's not just for the clinically depressed/anxious) Baths Walks in nature Reading with tea Watching inspiring documentaries about far away and beautiful places Focusing on a hobby and researching the equipment/supplies needed to fulfill said hobby. • Think Thin Chocolate Fudge are better than any Quest bar I've had, IMO. 240 calories 20 g protein 0 g sugar They taste amazing and have all natural ingredients. They are sweetened with sugar alcohol and that's the sketchiest thing in them.
  • Actually, I do struggle with emotional eating. I think I'm genuinely hungry, though. Perhaps that's why I have a problem -- it isn't *real* hunger! AHH. How do you fix emotional eating?
  • Reese's Peanut Buttercups DO taste disgusting if you don't eat them for a long time and suddenly eat them! I cannot eat: Grocery store chain bakery items (esp the frosting! it's shortening, sugar and artificial flavouring that comes in 20 lb tubs! Gross.) Delivered pizza Chain restaurant food, including their "healthy…
  • I spend more time at reddit.com/r/loseit because people here can be extremely snarky/trollish.
  • I am avoiding sugar but Lustig is an idiot. He claims you can eat glucose but not fructose. Any "ose" in food is bad in excessive quantities, period. So eat all the evaporated cane juice crystals and you will still get sick.

  • Who is advocating a life without chocolate? Not me. That is why I ordered chocolate from Finland that is $18 per bar and won't arrive for a month. Quality > quantity. Since my cravings have reduced substantially, I won't eat all 200 grams in one day like I used to. What I am saying is this: taking a month of chocolate…
  • I treat sugar like an addictive substance and it is the only way I've managed to reduce cravings. I'm almost certain I will be able to enjoy sugar/fat like a normal person very soon. I simply don't need as much as I used to. And yes, we need sugar to live. We do not need chocolate to live, or cake, or cookies or bon bons.…
  • This is a good challenge for people with self control. As a sugar addict ( I can eat a whole bag of oreos in one day), I simply could not succeed in this challenge. Just writing this for anyone who is in my position and also considering this challenge. It CAN derail your plans. I hope to be at the point where I can…
