Good idea! I just picked up Healthy Choice Cheese Tortellini soup. The calories are split for 2 servings but even if you have the whole thing it's only 200 calories! It's pretty tasty. Tomato soup base with cheese tortellini (about 5 of them). Sodium is around 600 though.
  • Egg whites, sugar free gelatin cups(10 calories), sugar free fudgepops (40 calories), frozen grilled chicken breasts (110 calories)

Those little squeezy baby food pouches actually make a delicious snack if you get the fruit and veggie kind. They're only $1.00 each, contain only fruits and veggies, and are usually between 50-70 calories.

I have found that adding some cooked spaghetti squash, or cooked shredded zucchini to spicy soups, casseroles or stuffings gives a larger serving with very few calories and no change in taste to many dishes. The vegetables are so mild they are hardly noticeable and make many foods more filling with the added fiber. Right now they are in season and pretty cheap at farm stands, etc. I do this in enchiladas, stuffed fish or chicken dishes, baked tuna casserole, spaghetti sauce, and potato or split pea soup.
Also, try some eggplant dishes. Bake or grill for no fat, top with tasty pasta sauce and low fat cheese.

Order quest bars through amazon!!!! There are a TON of different flavors for significantly less than what you will pay at GNC! They also sell them at hy-vee (grocery store) for 2 for 5 and at HEB (grocery) for the same.

I have a KILLER sweet tooth and they curb it, as well as make me FULL!!

~La Tortilla Factory Whole Wheat High Fiber Low Carb Tortillas (large size) - 80 calories, 3 fat, 18 carb, 12 fiber, 8 protein, 6% RDA calcium, 8% RDA iron. I get them at Costco in a big pack and they are great for breakfast burritos and lunch wraps.
~Fiber One Cereal (Original) - 60 calories (1/2 cup), 1 fat, 25 carb, 14 fiber (all insoluble), 2 protein, 10% RDA vitamin C, 10% RDA calcium, 25% RDA iron. I use about a 1/4 cup on my yogurt or salad to make it a bit more filling and give it some crunch.
~Watermelon (1 cup diced) - 46 calories, .2 fat, 170 potassium, 11 carb, .06 fiber, .09 protein, 17% RDA vitamin A, 20% RDA vitamin C. I usually eat a big 2-cup bowl of it at lunch. It is so refreshing and filing, but with few calories and a boost of vitamins.
~Better'n Eggs Plus - 35 calories (1/4 cup), 0 fat, 90 potassium, 1 carb, 6 protein, a wide variety of vitamins and minerals. I scramble up 3/4 cup and put in a tortilla with some pepper for a quick breakfast burrito. Add some spinach and chipotle tabasco to "kick it up".

On this note adding cauliflower to mashed potatoes or soups really boosts density without calories! Love low cal fillers for those hungry comfort food TOM moments!
