  • Vapors help me but I think they are just as addictive. They help with the "hand to mouth" habit. If you choose vapors they go down to 0 nicotine, everyone is different, making advice for quitting difficult.

  • Thanks everyone for your input. Trying to do 2-a-days of cardio morning/ evening sessions. Reason behind the time frame- Halloween parties- Bought a genie costume, and if my stomach was just the slightest more defined I'd be more up to wearing it.
  • No gas issues so far, but i also don't consume 155 grams of protein :) thanks
  • 50-70 is that grams/day? I usually eat 1500 cal average a day, lifting days 1800 cal. Oats work but just got bored with them for after a while. (oats, stevia, and cinnamon and a side of fruit) Should probably incorporate more beans and rice. For the beans do you make them in your own recipes or do you buy preseasoned in…
  • Peeled, then sliced with a food processor Lay slices on a cookie sheet evenly spread. Brush them with olive oil, mixed with seasonings and salt. Bake slices in oven at 350, for about an hour or until tender. But if you want them like chips, flip after the hour is up. Then bake another 15 -20 minutes. Re-season and salt to…
  • I enjoy it I think I broke the small band in my sleep so using the large one now and taking it off at night. I find the tech pretty awesome the upside being that the fitbit site is free.
  • Thanks everyone, all good now :)
  • Great job! Looking fantastic, and inspirational.
  • Make it an entire family change/ restriction rather than singling her out. Sadly they shouldn't be having body issues that young our society sucks that way forcing children to think in such a manner. Family outings (walks, bike rides, swimming at the Y).
  • Thanks everyone! :) I appreciate the help. It was much needed. :D
  • He might be a single dad, that doesn't know where the family locker rooms are. Maybe the next time you see him you could show him where they are.
  • Love the attitude and sense of humor

  • What are salt pills? Sodium is in most foods naturally, but too much sodium intake is unhealthy. Jillian Michaels says "sodium can raise your blood pressure and slow down your metabolism." "When you eat sodium, the excess sodium is deposited just beneath the skin where it attracts water, which is retained in your cells.…
  • after a large lunch, maybe 3 hrs later a good snack would be nuts (almonds or pistachios), a light vanilla yogurt w/ granola, or a smoothie with vegetables and a half scoop of protein to keep your stomach satisfied till dinner. My Favorite smoothie:(off of allrecipes.com) Green monster- 1/2 c. vanilla yogurt, 1c. milk, 1c.…
  • That's about 27-30 weeks two lbs per week. You would have to be on a really strict diet but it's possible. :D You can dooo it!
  • Definitely, Yawns are just your body providing more oxygen to the brain.
  • Is he in a place where the showers are good because if he's not baby wipes are a life saver. My husband is in the military too.
  • young coconut water has a lot of potassium
  • Just started Jillian Micheals 30 day shed on day 2 incredibly sore pushed as much as I could with the weights and had to put them down for the modification, but definitely feeling great about starting it/ finishing.
  • I have the 2F0 sports, 20 lbs got it for $35 shipping was $20 but was still cheaper for me buying it on Amazon.com than buying it in stores here. But be sure to work your way up to 20lbs, the sand bags in it are removable so start at 5 or 10 to be safe ... Swimming pool is a great idea, :) variety is always great.
  • A chick posted this a couple days ago absolutely yummy but I added two pk of sweetener to it and made it with a whole scoop protein rather than the 1/2 as it suggested. 1/2 cup pumpkin puree 1/2 banana 3/4 cup almond milk 1 scoop protein powder 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice 1tsp cinnamon dash of ginger around 250 calories and…
  • I like having a slice of toast and PB 30-40 minutes before a workout so I have some sort of energy supply. A snack like that keeps me going through my workout without me feeling full and uncomfortable.
  • Plateaus suck, I've been there. Have you tried interval training, or increasing the difficulty of your runs by wearing a weighted vest?
  • It all depends on when your day begins. When my husband is on swing shift my day doesn't start until 0900-10 a.m. and ends at around 1 a.m. Considering the body experiences a 6-8 hr fast when we sleep it's usually recommended to have a non-processed food as a late night snack 4-6 hrs before bed. But honestly it's up to…
  • 1 cup frozen mangoes or 1 cup fresh mango, cubes 1/2 banana 1/2 cup organic vanilla yogurt 1/2 cup fruit juice, of your choice (I use mango-peach or white grape juice, orange juice is very good as well) 1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder 1 tablespoon wheat germ
  • When I get those crazy cravings I make a smoothie, or help my self to a naked juice (like a smoothie but with added nutrients and already to go in a bottle...get at any store). Since they tend to come along at work making snacks at home ahead of time helps, putting individual servings in zip-lock snack baggies, and always…
  • Melatonin definitely helped my mind become at ease, but didn't help me sleep or stay asleep... as you said, going to buy some teas and see which one of those work out best. Thanks everyone for your suggestions, going to try them all to see which works out best. Thanks again.
