Don't be disappointed. As you lift you'e going to gain a significant amount of muscle, which is about 18-20% more dense than fat. Measurements are a good way to track your progress instead of weight, at least as long as you're experiencing newbie gains in muscle. Cardio is all about working towards it, I used to barely be…

Originally mine was chibi cthulu, but I figured I needed to put my face on my profile and it didn't really matter since I've been posting my YT videos about my weight loss to my status for friends to see. That and I have a unified online identity haha
-
I'm not new here, and I'm really starting to reach old-hat status (103 day streak now, 2 cheats that's it.) but I'm more than willing to friend up and help out how I can. You can also find me on just about all the social networks with this user name

26, full time 911 Dispatcher. I'm 55 into about 150lbs I have to lose. I pick up heavy things and put them down again. I also vlog and post about it on the internet. I try to be a motivational force in all of my MFP friend's lives; over 100 days in to tracking with only 2 cheat days, working hard and running hard. You can…

Drink a ton of water, set yourself on an eating schedule (for example I either eat a snack or a meal every 2 hours at work and manage to keep myself busy enough not to notice if I'm hungry at home) and you'll be okay. The first few weeks are the hardest to adjust to, you'll make it!
-
I set up a structure for my eating that works with my personality type; I am extremely goal oriented when there's a reward at the end of it (achievement hunter when I'm gaming, bit of a completionist, etc.) I set a few small rules: 1. Weigh in once a week, no more, don't worry about it when it's not weigh in day 2. Start…

Dispatcher here, brother! We co-exist I suppose. The best thing I did for my weight loss was to buy a kitchen scale and weigh out everything i eat. I can account for every gram of food I've eaten (save for my cheat day Dec. 31) since Dec. 1, 2013. I'm down from 393 to 342 so far, consider going that route while you start…

I'm 26 and still pretty much bring the party everywhere I go, feel free to add me!

edit: 9, nicely dressed dude.

That outlook is detrimental to you, just cause you mess up once doesn't mean you should keep bashing yourself and stay off the path. Get back on, get back to work, you'll do fine! Lishie is right, no food is junk, some are better for you yeah, but keep an eye on your calorie intake, be moderate, don't hurt yourself trying…

Honestly I just drink bottles of water through the day, a regular bottle of water is 2 1/2 glasses, so it's not that bad, plus drinking water really helps when I'm starting to get hungry. I've found that if I structure my day around an eating schedule, keeping my calories low is easy. I typically sleep from around noon to…

Well, I'm not amazing by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm more than willing to be your friend! I have a lot to lose myself, still somewhere around 130-150 to go at this point. I track my progress weekly through photos and with a little youtube channel I started where I basically say what's on my mind about that…

I started with a lofty goal, nearly 200lbs, I've managed to get 1/4 of the way there so far, weighing in 50lbs lighter last monday (02/10/14) than I was when I started on Dec. 1, 2013. I'm more than happy to take this trip with you, whether it's staying on your *kitten* about updating, sharing recipes or stories, or…
-
XD my real weakness is pancakes man. Pancakes and really ****ty chinese food drowned in sriracha, but I haven't had either a single time in 2014 so far haha. The goal really does give me something to look forward to. On my next cheat I'm buying a bottle of single Barrel bourbon and I'm going to have myself a nice drink, a…

Hey! I'm on every day and I make it a point to be on my friend's *kitten* when I see they've been inactive. I have a pretty good handle on my cooking and all of that mess, decent recipes watching sodium and calorie levels, everyone here can feel free to add me if they'd like. I'd be more than happy to take the journey with…

I have a bit of spendable income here and there, I think when I get it i'll rearrange my Wicked Game cover and redo the Brand New cover and maybe post that Britney Spears Toxic cover I was working on yesterday XD

It might be helpful to set certain off-day goals. For me, I have to go hard and intense about it to match my mentality for other things. I decided if I could put the same obsessive behavior I have for completing games 100% to weight loss, it would help me and it has, so I waited 30 days before a cheat, had one day…

I'll send you a friend request. I'm on every day and I try to stay on my friends *kitten*. 6'0" started 11 weeks ago, December 1, at 393 (178.26kg) down to 341 (154.68kg) as of last monday, I'll be weighing in again tonight and seeing how this last week treated me.
-
I'm getting a blue yeti soon so I can record music that doesn't sound like it was filtered through my *kitten*. And maybe I'll learn to edit my videos, don't know if you've watched any, but there's NO editing to them XD
-
I'm on every day myself; a lot of my friends picked it up too, not sure if they really want to get in shape or if they're just being supportive, but I'm staying on their *kitten*!

Pfft, too girly.

Yeah, actually. I started posting videos on a youtube account not long ago (5 or so weeks by my reckoning,) most of them being rambly bits about my weight loss or things I deal with week to week while keeping track of my intake. You can find me here: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCftNAYYb6pbWS3tqtkBOagA I still don't…
