if you are going to get a heart rate monitor make sure it has a chest strap for the most accuracy. i have only owned one heart rate monitor but it is accurate and helps keep me honest about how hard i am working. i use the POLAR FT4 and i love it. it is basic, like it doesnt have a timer on it, and i cant see the time…

i put 1/2 a packet of stevia and any berries i may have at home or bananas and cinnamon, or instead of stevia i use agave nectar but not a lot because it is super sweet. or i use plain greek yogurt 2% in place of sour cream or mayonnaise in tuna or chicken salad sandwich.

i have been doing the 30 day shred now for a little over 30 days i started @ 210LBS and am now 198LBS. the program is tuff but just pace yourself and give it your all. 5-6 days a week with eating right has really worked for me. oh and btw...there are lots o jumping jacks in the first level i have a hard time with those so…

i know it sounds silly but because i don't have traditional weights i just hang onto some old ankle weights we have had forever i think they are 1.5 lbs each - 2 lbs but im not sure. they do the trick tho :wink:
