  • I did not know about the 1000 calorie day not closing issue. Thanks for letting us know.
  • Congrats on being ready to run your first half marathon! Enjoy your race and don't try anything new on race day or even the week before. Keep hydrated and well fueled. Best of luck!
  • I made these with diced chicken, pico de gallo and fat free sharp cheddar. My son and I both loved them. I am not sure how well the freeze as we went through them in two days. As for calories it really depends on how many you make and what you put in them. The next round I think will be ham and cheese.
  • I would go for a digital scale that has a tare button (otherwise you are placing your food right on the scale) along with grams, ounces and pounds.
  • Oh Boy, that has got to be a hard question. Peanut Butter & Honey Peanut Butter & Apple Butter Peanut Butter & Banana Peanut Butter & Chocolate Oh hell I just like PB in general.
  • Mini Penne with homemade meatballs and mozzarella/provolone cheese.
  • Good Greens bars in Chocolate Coconut. Love these bars, they taste like a Mounds bar and are a full days servings of fruit and veggies. I love them as a great on the run go to meal replacement with a bottle of milk. They make several flavors and the Apple Cinnamon and Banana Nut are really good as well. The Mint Chocolate…
  • For me it really depends on the month. I mean that literally some months are very light and short with no issues while others I am in bed with a menstrual related migraine, cramps that won't let up and heavy bleeding. If you can do so there is no reason not to, however if you are not able or comfortable doing so then…
  • Not wanting kids is not selfish. It simply means you do not want kids.. Only you can decide if having kids is the right thing for you. I do however think if you are questioning if you wan them you may be changing your mind, that being said if you are considering stop and decide why you are rethinking the no kids stance. Is…
  • Just wondering why she can't use MFP. She could simply adjust her calorie intake goal to accommodate the additional calories needed when pregnant. Since she would be simply tracking for her knowledge that should work fine.
  • Personally, I do a weight check once a week on Friday mornings before eating. That way I am on a schedule otherwise I will fall back into a daily weight check (not good for me). So far I am happy with the scheduling. My suggestion is decide on how often you feel comfortable doing a weight check then marking that particular…
  • I don't. I try to either plan it into my foods or simply have a small snack. It won't derail me unless I allow it to.
  • I have PF and that does not sound like it, however it could be a developing foot problem. Have you tried icing the area to see if that helps? I would rest your foot and see if that helps. If not check with a podiatrist.
  • Hi I am also working on this weight loss run a second time. I am also new to posting and not new to MFP. From what I read it sounds like you are making great choices for you and I am sorry that your almost ex cannot support you in your endeavor to become healthier for you and your children. As for your mom all I can say is…
  • The knee pain may abate as you lose weight. If not definitely have it checked out. Is your kneecap loose? I know that sounds like a strange question, however if it is loose the pain could be cause by weak muscles around the knee. There are exercises you can do to strengthen the area. Look up Patella Femoral Syndrome (my…
  • Hi I am a round two as well. My start date was also September 1st. This time I know I will be able to stick with it as I have friends involved as well. Good luck to everyone! We can do this!

  • Honestly, my first step would be to verify no hairline fracture in your ankle. Then take it from there. As for exercises, I will suggest swimming. It is great for the cardio and fun if you like the water. Good luck.
  • First off CONGRATS on starting the C25K program. As a runner who is beginning to run again after 13 years please do not get discouraged. Running is effective for weight loss and your calories seem on par, try a small snack about 30-45 minutes before your run. Another thing you can try is a 60/40 mix of either juice and…
