Finished the first workout this morning!!! The workout felt really good! I thought it would be too easy. I definately need to give myself more time. Didn't realize there was 20min of just resting for inbetween sets. I know they say you should do them, but man that's a long time.

Love this article! Great info! What formula should you use to find out maintence calories? I found 2 different ones and one my base w/o excercise factored in im at 857.5 and the other I found I would be at 1464.7, quite a big difference! I'm 5'3 and 144lbs. Thanks!

Is there a lot of jumping in ripped in 30? I work out very early in the morning and live in a duplex, so people live below and don't want to wake them. I HEAR YA!!!!! keep at it! and I strongly suggest taking your measurements. I didn't do that until a month in, but think it keeps you encouraged when you realize your loosing inches even if your not loosing lbs. Just turning fat into muscle! :)

I also do the elliptical on some days as well as play dance central 2 on the kinect Also I have a lot of lower back problems and found when I really concentrate on pushing my lower back flat into the ground it hurts more in the ab section and a little less in my back.

I use 5lb, but for the side squats with arm raise I have to use my 2lb weights.
