Its possible to eat healthy while out, you just need to be conscious of your choices. Mfp can log most fast food for you.

Took the kids to the fair last night, had an asking time and ate a lot of crappy food. Getting back on track today and not feeling guilty about the food i ate and just saying forget it is a huge nsv for me :)

My first ever non scale victory. I stopped eating when I was full and didn't feel the need to finish everything on my plate, even though I logged it already.

I have to be at work at 6am and for the last five weeks I have been getting up at 3:45am to get to the gym by 4am so I can work out for an hour, go home, shower and change and be at work on time. Also muscle doesn't weight more than fat. A pound is a pound is a pound. They take up space differently, however they weigh the same.

I pay myself to go to the gym hahah. Whenever I go I put a dollar in a jar. I'm looking in forward to spending it on cute work out gear.

I always have a mid morning snack. I can't make it from breakfast to lunch without something. I get hangry. Haha. I make sure it fits into my calories though.

I've found that not focusing on lbs lost and focusing more on small accomplishments ie. Stopping soda completely, going an extra five minutes on the elliptical, making lunches for work....has made me feel more successful and made it easier to keep my eyes on the end prize. Good luck to you :)

I agree, he's not eating enough and he's going to burn out. It's a lifestyle change and something you need to realistically be able to do. I would stay within what mfp tells you and make sure to measure your food.
