Eat out a lot

I eat out a lot and having lost 15lbs. I want to lose more. Hoping for 15-20 more. Need help in NC. Help

    I am in NC and eat lunch out quite frequently. I cook more at dinner than when I first started but we still eat out some.

    Its possible to eat healthy while out, you just need to be conscious of your choices. Mfp can log most fast food for you.

    A fast tip is to eat half the meal. Most restaurant meals are about double what you need anyhow. You can enter the nutritional content from their website. By eating half you can log the meal as a half. Save the second half as carry out.

    Also to help with self control, you may look at the website before you go and decide ahead of time what you are going to have.

    Order side salad instead of fries.

    Watch those meal sized salads! Some are loaded with high fat dressings, cheese, dried fruit and nuts. All which is lovely but they carry a caloric wallop.

    Hold the mayonnaise on the burger.

    Watch out for endless bread baskets!
