I was loosing steadily for 5 weeks - 10lbs. Then I hit a plateau for over a month! I have just lost 1lb again last week. I eat 1200 cals a day - I work out a lot and burn around 600-800 a day - I try and eat back some of these calories so I net around 1000 a day. Why does the body plateau - any advise?

I'm 5'5 and currently 136 - want to lose about 8lbs - mainly to help with faster running times :)

I eat back the majority of mine - I would be too hungry otherwise and I have still been losing weight. I try and net 1200 a day - if I did 800 calories of exercise and didn't eat them back, I would only net 400 which is far too low!

I absolutely love body combat - I've been doing it for about 8 years now! It really depends on how good the instructor you have is as well - I've got an awesome one who mixes all the old releases up and keeps us on our toes. I don't think you'll find a better class :)

Do you eat a lot of sugary foods? The more often we have something, the more often our body gets used to eating it and craves it!

Definately go for scrambled eggs (minus the butter!) and smoked salmon! High protein and delicious! One of my favourites :smile:

Satsumas are low calorie and are in season at the moment - I also keep a small tub of mixed nuts in case I'm going to the gym and need a bit extra - but make sure I only take about 15 with me as they are high in calories!

I got weighed at the doctors as part of a routine check up - told him I weighed 60kg and I actually weigh 66.5kg! It was a shock - want to get those extra kgs off to be at my happy weight again!
