Thanks Mark, looking forward to it.

Hey all, at the 11th hour I'd like to join in on the fun. I'm slow and I don't put in a ton of miles but at least I do it consistently. I'll be a gruppetto of one. You can verify all this on Strava, if you're bored: www.strava.com/athletes/2667788 Thanks, Big Yin and Cowbellsandcoffee for inviting me in. Brad

You look great and love that smile in the last photo!

Mostly Chobani fruit on the bottom (0 or 2%), but usually whatever is on sale. I prefer plain, but it's hard to find as single-serving cups outside of Trader Joes. I tried Noosa "Australian style" yogurt last week. Thick like Greek. Hands-down the best yogurt I have had in years.

Whole Foods 360 natural peanut butter. It's the family favorite and is a surprising bargain.

My own experience is that I don't lose when I fail to drink enough water, even if my calories are on target. As for giving up soda, my wife and I switched to sparkling water about a year ago and have not missed soda at all.

Peet's. Peet's Peet's Peet's. Any of their dark roasts--Major Dickason's Blend is a good intro. You may be able to find it on the shelves of your local supermarket, or at your local Costco (if you have a local Costco). Better, if you live near a store (here on the east coast they converted all of the Caribou Coffee joints…

Most weeks 5-6 hours, sometimes I bump it up to 8-10. Those are fun weeks!

Early morning for me, too. To the gym and back before the family is awake or at least before it is full get-ready-for-school mode. My wife sometimes does yoga or cycling videos during that same time.

Nice job, and great jersey! Don't let The Sufferfest see you smiling, though!

You can find running tights like that at a sporting goods store or running store. I usually see them in black, so I don't know about colors.

You bet! Ride 4-5x week, mostly commuting (23 miles round trip), on a Lemond Alpe D'Huez. Am looking to try CX as soon as I can save up enough for the bike I want.

Yup. It's the hardest part of dieting for me. I have found two things work: 1. Brushing my teeth after dinner 2. Logging my food right after dinner, then nursing a bottle of sparkling water the rest of the night (it's bigger than a soda and feels like a treat) It's a discipline issue for me, and logging my dinner right…

Yes, both angry and ashamed. There are reasons for my weight gain (depression, general unhappiness) but there's really no excuse. I am angry and ashamed I let myself slide so far and did not love myself enough to take care of my body. A couple of years ago I realized I was tired of being fat and got serious about losing,…

Love this!

I eat the same things for breakfast and lunch just about every day, but mix it up with dinner. It makes calorie counting easier and is good self-discipline. That said, once every couple of weeks or so I will have a different lunch (like a sandwich or wrap) because I do get tired of salads every day.

Hey nice going, and what a great story!
