Bump. I LOVE beets, but I've only had them from a can or once when the neighbors pickled a jar. I order them at restaurants too, since the boyfriend would not tolerate them as a side dish for himself. I would like to learn more beet applications.

Ding ding ding! Call ahead, or go to a place that says "No MSG" if you're concerned, although, the other posters have already given reasons to not be concerned. Deep fried, sugary sauced chicken or fried noodles with no MSG is going to be worse for you than steamed or sauteed veggies and chicken with MSG.

I was my sister's maid of honor and we threw her a wine and cheese tasting! She's a little snobby so it was great, and it was clean although our artist bridesmaid made the cutest sugar cookies shaped like rear ends and decorated them with lacey undies. The girls who brought **** ring toss just felt awkward.

Having a lite yoga class after an intense cardio/strength mix class made me feel better right away. Still felt the burn, but I could move the next day. It makes sense physiologically too as far as how the muscles heal. Try lite stretching and range of motion activities. Always warm up and cool down!

I just meant because the food is nasty! I can just as easily defrost and overcook my own frozen food, but granted I have to go to the restaurant if I want to see 16 year olds fight over who's turn it ISN'T to take a table. Applebee's is the worst, I do not understand that place!

Houlihan's has some smaller dinners available that taste just great and are a normal portion size, as well as delicious and creative salads. I can't believe you people choose to spend money at Applebee's, barf. If it comes down to that just cook for yourself.

This! Margarine has bad bad evil trans fats, so it's olive oil or butter for me 100% of the time, unless a recipe calls for canola oil which I have somewhere in a cupboard.

I like the 0% Fage, eithter with fruit and honey as everyone else mentioned, or a little mixed into salsa with tortilla chips! My sister was disappointed to notice the sugar/calorie content of yoplait when she was dieting and found that her husband's taco bell taco had fewer calories and carbs than her yogurt.
