  • I do if I am burning more than 400 calories and feel exceptionally hungry. I will add protein shake or something that gives me a good recovery. I am in it for the long, slow haul in terms of weight loss, though. This might be the wrong approach if you can balance supply with faster results on the scale.
  • I am also new to the group! I have a 4.5 month old and am now back at work full time but with flexible hours. I am trying to rediscover that work/family balance! Feel free to add me!
  • I second the note "You only need what your baby drinks" tip from FitMama. It is more about the ounces your baby gets over a 24-hour period. Does your baby night-nurse or eat a bunch in the morning or evening? Mine nurses for a long while when she comes home from daycare and then at night.
  • Hi! I am a new mom of 4.5 month old girl. I have 54 pounds to lose. I am also in need of snack ideas but have to go diary free (so hard for a diary-lover!). Those no-bake bites look great! What I am snacking on right now at my desk is a great non-diary smoothie. Vegan Almond Berry Smoothie - ~16oz at 280 calories Blend:…
  • Hello! I also have a September baby! She was born at 38w due via csection due to low fluid. She is doing great now, but we had a rough 3 months through her having oral surgery, me with 3 rounds of mastitis, colic, chronic overtiredness and she was just diagnosed (as I suspected since things have spiraled in the last 3…

  • Beetlejuice wins all the awards.
  • All of these responses and not one "Breakfast of Champions" Matrix reference? I am disappointed.
  • I was just stuffing my face with black bean salsa. Southwestern Black Bean Salad Ingredients: 1 15.5 oz can black beans, rinsed and drained 9 oz frozen corn, thawed 1 tomato, chopped 1 small hass avocado, diced 1/4 cup red onion, chopped 1 scallion, chopped 1 lime, juice of 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 1 tbsp cilantro…
  • I am (nearly) 8 weeks in, and have been pretty lucky to not have any major nausea or exhaustion (minus a day or two). I have stuck with my regular workout schedule of 4 days running 3-4 miles with some strength on two extra days. I am still on track to run a 10k in April, depending on how I am feeling by then. I am still…
  • This is truly inspiring. I am also 5'7 and my highest weight was 273. I've lost 70lbs (before joining myFitness over a month ago) through running and diet. Still have 40-50 to go, but really committed to dropping the rest this year by supplementing running with lifting. I've also been battling infertility for a while now…
  • I wear Wright Socks almost exclusively. I am very prone to blistering, especially when I start pumping up my mileage. I check out REI outlet, Amazon and Zappos to compare prices by sock or pack. I love them. I have a few different kinds depending on the weather. Best investment I have ever made outside of proper running…
