LOVE IT!

I was at Goodwill and picked up a super cute skirt in the large section. Before I put it on, I realized it was a medium. I thought I'd still get it and just have to work my way into it, but I put it on and it fit! Also, it's pleated all the way around. Before, my butt would stick out way too much in that style, but it…

So so many awesome posts on here! I shoveled very heavy snow for 30 minutes yesterday...no way I could have lasted that long 2 years ago! I actually, kind of, sort of, almost enjoyed it, if that's possible!

Bump to try!

I love so very many of these but had to comment on this one because I've had the same "craving." Sometimes the urge hits while I'm shopping and I practically run little old ladies over with my cart...hahaha. It's one of my favorite changes to actually "need" to work out!
-
Those used to be my excuses too! You can do this though...not always easy but definitely doable!
-
Wow...looking terrific!

I wouldn't call them bad, especially if it's something you enjoy and would have trouble limiting yourself to the 100 calories worth if it weren't prepackaged. Personally, I'd rather have 100 calories of something more filling, like a fruit. But if it fits into your daily calories and what you're eating is filling you…

I agree, that is a huge step and sounds a lot like me. You've got this!!

I can't eat McDonald's except for their sausage burrito anymore. It also makes me feel ill afterwards so I just don't do it. I don't know if there's something in it that my body is just no longer used to or what. I'm not opposed to having the occasional fast food meal, so usually I go to Wendy's. Hope you feel better soon!

I microwave it too, but I cut it in half, put both halves in a glass bowl with some water in the bottom. Put a smaller bowl on top, upside down, and microwave for 15 minutes or so, depending on the size of the squash. I take out the seeds after, just find they come out easier and then shred with a fork. I just use a jarred…

I so love reading these! So much inspiration! I've been a bit of a slacker recently, so no scale movement the correct direction, but i did run into someone that I hadn't seen in over a year and she was amazed at how I looked, so that was a nice feeling. Reading these makes me want to quit the sweets that I've been snacking…

I got a hydration belt for running http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KR3KS0M/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and some reebok warm weather tights and a few other work out clothing items from Dick's Sporting Goods.

I'd be willing to take on some noobies. I've been on MFP for 2 years now. I've lost almost 80lbs (although put some of those back on during the holidays!). I'm 44, married with 2 active in sports teenagers. I work full and part time and try to work out 5 days a week, although it doesn't always pan out. I eat around 1600…

My NSV is that I have been a member here for 2 years now. I actually have stuck with it! I haven't reached my goal weight yet, which I had planned on meeting by the end of May. Not sure that'll I'll make it by then but I'm okay with that. I have lost a lot, learned a lot, and haven't given up...so that's more important…
-
All I can say is WOW at so many awesome NSV's! So very motivating. I've been allowing my sweet tooth to win out lately but I know that I will want to be posting on here again, so it's time to get back under control!
-
YEAH! Good for you! A step at a time!

I overheard my old boss that hired me August of 2013 whisper to my new boss that I look great! She hasn't seen me in quite some time. I

So my warm up and cool down jog time is a 10 minute mile. That was my original goal time at one point to be my "fast" running time. Love that I don't feel like I'm going to die when I'm running at that pace now. And I actually pass other runners on the track now. There were times when I was jogging slower than people where…

Don't think I could do it...MMMMmmmm...Nutella! It's food crack!

I like the Danskin brand sold at Walmart. It's cheap but holds up well. Love Nike and Underarmour too but can't afford them except from the thrift store!
-
Woohoo!! Great job! Keep it up :)
-
45 minutes is awesome! Great job!!

Anyone want to start this thread again? If so, post what you couldn't do 30 days ago that you can do now...I'll start. I can now do side planks. Didn't have the balance/strength to do those 30 days ago. What about you?
-
I love all of these so much! When will MFP ever put a like button on the posts?! I saw someone I hadn't seen in a few months and she kept going on about how great I looked. Also, I've been doing a HIIT training I came up with, part of the work out I do is running as fast as I can around the track, which is 1/9th of a mile.…

Love it! Especially the pride I heard in "today I AM a runner!!"

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate that you feel this way about yourself. But you can change, I promise. You're young, you have plenty of time. And some of these things that you hate about yourself, only YOU can change. Don't buy chocolate and diet soda then. Buy veggies. There are lots of overweight successful people, don't allow yourself to use…

Feel free to add me. I'm 44 (boohoo!) and have yo-yo'd plenty through out my lifetime. Finally, it's sticking...76 lbs. in 22 months. Still 40 or so to go, but I feel like I got this and this is a lifetime change for me. It is hard to start, but one you're 3 months in or so, it becomes a habit of a lifestyle. I promise you…
