Well I am back on MFP and will dive into the forums. I have been on and off of MFP for years. My plan is to stretch myself and keep up with my eating, keep my carbs low (under 50, prefer 20-30) and up my walking. I have been averaging 5k-6k steps a day. I would like to stretch that to 8k. Today so far has not been the best…

I have been drinking all my water and staying well trying to stay within my ranges. The key is small steps, last week for me was staying…

Never heard of that one...I am a huge fan of Isopure! It is the best and doesn't have that chalky taste. I like the beachbody shakeology but they are way too expensive. Pure protein is another good one as well.

My thought is anything with a drive thru is considered fast food. As for pizza I home-make mine. I do feel some of the nationwide "chain" pizza places would be considered fast food. According to Wikipedia: Fast food is the term given to food that is prepared and served very quickly, first popularized in the 1950s in the…

I personally enjoy replacing a meal with a shake just not my lunch. Most of the time it is breakfast but I have one for dinner at times also. I generally workout then have my protein shake, then a couple hours later a healthy snack like cashews or almonds. What all do you put in your shake? I have like fruits and/or peanut…

Oh man...I am so overwhelmed and don't know where to start. I was diagnosed about 2 years or so ago with Hashimotos thyroiditis. I recently learned about going gluten free. After reading all these threads I am still a little lost and confused. I will start with going gluten free. I do see an endo and they keep my numbers…
