Yup! I'm doing color me rad at the end of the month and tough mudder in June. I bought myself a new pair of shoes for the gym and use my old ones for outside training and the races. worked out quite well ;)

sweets definitely....i try moderation but it seems once I have a little I just don't stop myself. I'll have one day great with nothing then 100g of sugar from sweet treats the next day. I don't have that problem with the chips and soda I've cut out (and have on occasion) hopefully I'll get there with sweets!

I've been feeling the same way lately. I tell myself I'm going to get up and run before work, but just sleep. After work I convince myself I'm too tired. I say I'll only have one sweet, and eat 5. You're not alone, I need to get be into gear!

This has happened to me recently too. while I tried to be positive, there is only so much you can do online. I wanna be supportive but this site is for me and my health and having people on here eating so little is not supporting my health.

I started running again recently and this happened to me too! Don't mind the excuse for new shoes though ;)

I;m 23 and don't drink anymore (well I've been having wine as a de-stresser lately lol but that's a different story) I haven't really drank to got drunk in a long time and for a while stopped drinking all together. I didn't really tell anyone that I wasn't drinking for a while because of the responses I knew I'd get. One…

Yup this is why Im attracted to older guys more often....but then I seem to choose the guys who have too much going on and/or past the point of wanting anything too serious. Or maybe it's me and thats just what they tell me haha But yeah I agree with everyone saying it's not about the number its about maturity level

I started riding again after 4 years about 6 weeks ago. Not really for the added cardio but because I love it. I do add it into here though and am using it to help with my core strength and balance like you said. I don't have my own horse but I've been riding a paint mare, who can be challenging at times. Since it's been…

I think one of the good points he makes is how many products labeled as low fat use sugars to make up for the lack of flavor from removing the fat. Many people don't know this and will buy low fat or reduced fat products assuming they are healthy due to the low grams of fat per serving.

^^YUP! The first one I thought of when I read this was Defying Gravity from wicked. SO many others though :)

I am the same, I am still working on it but even if I don't have any sweets my sugar is usually over. I just go over what I eat and figure out what I could have changed or excluded and remember that for tomorrow. Planning also helps. On some nights I have a cliff bar for dinner 'cause of my schedule and on those days I…

Same kind of day, stress eating all day. ;/ I am not logging though, don't feel like getting comments from my trainer when I already know today sucked. It'll just push me to eat better tomorrow. Also, when I feel like crap later it'll remind me to never do it again. Just have to try to stay positive and keep moving forward.

Have some healthy snacks ready so that when you do get hungry you just grab those and aren't as tempted to get something unhealthy that you're most likely going to be craving after you're fun weekend. Since you're on track most of the time you'll be able to do this! It might seem difficult today but just stay positive and…

I was thinking along the same lines. You seem to eat a lot of fruit (high in sugar) but barely any carbs & protein.

Ill have to look this up, thanks!

Neither of those comments were helpful or necessary. I wasn't asking what you believed, I was asking for recipes.

I know it's cliche but time will help. I obsess a lot too so I know how hard it is to not think about it but eventually it won't be as big of a focus in your life anymore. I was with someone, on and off for a year and a half, and then I started going out again and he said he moved back, said he missed me and wanted to be…
