I tell myself I'm not hungry, I'm thirsty. And then I drink a big glass of water and wait until lunch time.

Syncing is the best way, then all the math is done for you!

My lab mix gets me out of the house all the time. She loves walks and a little running. We have to work back up to running now that it's getting warm again.

My nephews watches a cartoon where they always say "Oh, coconuts" when something goes wrong. That's what we try to use if little ears are around.

I've had the Fitbit Ultra for a year and a half. I've loved mine. It really helps you see how your moving during the day. I also love the ability to track everything and that it syncs to MFP.

I always get really cold too! It helps me if I can shower right after working out, but that's not always possible. I just put more layers on or get under a blanket.

I would like to find some balance. I reached my goal in June and stopped logging sometime this summer. Now I've gain almost half of it back! This time around I'm finding it really hard to stick with the logging again. Good luck to you and congrats on reaching your goal!

The Fitbit doesn't use GPS, just your body movements. It will work fine in subways and parking garages.

I love my fitbit. Somedays I burn way more calories than others, this way there's no guessing about how much you're moving. I never counted general walking before. That should be figured into your activity level.

Marie Calendar's pot pies. I love them, but they're supposed to be 2 servings and high calories. Who only eats half the pot pie? I haven't had one in a year so I don't remember the calorie count, but it made me sick!

I'd say if it's still crisp and doesn't smell funny it's still good.

I think you should take your measurements. I didn't and really wish I would've. The scale has went down, but it would be fun to see how much everything has too.

For me it's more like taking a break from counting than stopping completely. When I reach my goal I stop logging, but keep weighing. When I start gaining more than a few pounds I start logging until I'm back to my goal weight. It's very easy for old habits to come back when you're not logging. Good luck!

But then your beagle would a bath

I would suggest to keep weighing in each week to keep yourself on track. When I have a couple of pounds creep back on I log for a while to reboot myself. It's very easy to slip into bad habits again. Congrats on making it to maintenance!

I never stretch, just do a 5 minute warm up walk and another 5 for a cool down walk. So far so good!
-
I agree!

I'd say if you don't have any discomfort while going to the bathroom than you're fine. When I had an infection it burned to pee!

I will weigh a couple of pounds more after a day of not getting enough water. It seems my body is happy with 6 glasses of water, unless I've been extra active or it's really hot outside. Try adding something like crystal light (only 5 cal) to change up the flavor. I sip on water all day, so I hardly ever drink a whole…

Bump, LOVE cake batter ice cream!

On "The Doctors" last week they suggested putting cinnamon in your coffee instead of sweetner and creamer. They said it would save on calories and jump start your metabolism. It's not bad, I haven't been able to get rid of my creamer yet, but I just use one serving of it.
-
I agree! It's helped me understand my body so much better.

Bump

These all sound so good! Bump for sure!

You should be proud. 30 pounds lost is awesome! You're doing great and looking good. Keep up the great work. :drinker:

I use honey, which still has calories like sugar, but I find I can use way less honey to get the same sweetness I get with more sugar. Therefore, less calories in the cup of coffee.

I'm a farmer, so I work everyday. Those cows don't take the weekend off! Hope everyone's work day goes fast.

I would suggest a lot of toys! Puppies love to chew. If you find him chewing on something he shouldn't, take it away, tell him no and give him one of his toys. He'll learn what's his to play with and that your things are off limits. Also, make sure he meets lots of other people and animals. We didn't do this with our first…

It's usually not the seasonings that get me in trouble, it's anything packaged. If it's fast and easy it's probably high in sodium.
