Is it bad to count....

I'll echo everyone saying that it's included in your daily activity.
I take a half-mile walk at mid-day, and I stopped logging that because I realized that it should count as part of my 'lightly active' activity level.
Go sweat. Log that.0 -
i wouldn't. this sort of activity is already accounted for when you signed up and it asked you how active your job is0

I would have included that in your activity level you set when you set up MFP. "Sedentary, lightly active, active, very active..." If you're walking around all day I'd say you should've picked active, or at least lightly active.0

it's only a bad idea if you're trying to lose weight.

Get a fitbit and let it count your walking for you.
I love my fitbit. Somedays I burn way more calories than others, this way there's no guessing about how much you're moving. I never counted general walking before. That should be figured into your activity level.0
