I use Personal Records. I love it! It is very basic, but it does what I need. You can add results as time, weight, AMRAP or Reps. Highly recommend.

I just had this conversation at the gym last night. I have not used a belt yet, and I've been wondering the same thing. My dead lift was 275 last night, but a friend said she went up 20 lbs in her DL when she started using a belt. Interested in other feedback.

I'm just starting paleo and would love friends who are familiar with this way of eating. I've done low carb in the past, but never paleo. Excited!

WOW!!!! Giving all guys a reason to hit the gym. We thank you.

Amazing!!! Congratulations on your success. Your are absolutely beautiful!!

I have a flex and I love it. I only have 2 friends, though! Please add me! http://www.fitbit.com/user/26QW5X

There is a low carb group on mfp. There are people doing various forms of low carb, including Atkins.

I know where you are coming from. The idea that you can eat what you want as long as you control your calorie intake may be true, but it doesn't necessarily work for everyone. You need to make choices that YOU can stick with. I, too, grew up in a house with a lot of junk food, so my choices have to be as much about being…

Hmmm. Thinking of something to actually make at work is tough... My unimaginative meals always end up being several snacks lumped together. I was in your situation Monday and I ended up having a piece of cheese, some beef jerky and cherry tomatoes! LOL. If I run to the store, the easiest thing is a sandwich or wrap. I'll…

My ex was a sleep eater. Drove me nuts!! Can't tell you how many times I went to get my leftovers and they were gone. He never knew what happened to my food, it would just be gone! LOL

I'm eating at a deficit, and for the most part I'm eating LCHF. I have had a few cheat days over the last 2 weeks, so I'm not losing as rapidly as I probably should be. I'm strictly LCHF now, so I'll have a weight loss update next week! I am aiming for 20 net carbs. MFP is set to 5% carbs, 60% fat and 35% protein.…

I'm currently eating low carb, and I started Stronglifts about a month ago. I don't have any advice to offer, but I've been wanting to ask the same questions. I've done some research online, but I don't want anyone telling me I don't eat enough carbs to lift so I think I only read what I want to.

I'm interested! Do we need to friend someone on fb to participate?

Wonderful!!! You look amazing, and I love your story! Thanks for reminding us we are still human, and we need to live this journey aware that we are not perfect. You've amazed me

This^^^ That's what I do, as well. I've only lost 15 lbs since following my strong lifts/cardio routine, but I've lost several inches. I've especially noticed a difference in my arms and waist/hip area. I started at the beginning of May. Good luck!

Great job!! I'm so happy for you, and happy you shared. It is a great inspiration to us not very far on our journeys to see success like this. Keep up the great work!

Congratulations! I feel like something clicked for me this time, too! I've changed my lifestyle, and I can't wait to see 199! Thanks for sharing your awesomeness

Great job! You've shown amazing determination! And I love your new haircut.

Yes, please!! Thanks

Yes, I made "breaded" chicken strips just last week. I used plain pork rinds, salt, pepper and garlic. I ground the pork rinds with my magic bullet blender. Dipped the chicken in butter, then the breading, and then fried them. They turned out quite yummy! However, the leftovers weren't that great because the breading got…

Huge fan of the flex! It is always with me and I never chance forgetting it or misplacing it. I also use a hrm for gym workouts, and I'm notorious for arriving at the gym without it. I don't want another gadget to keep up with, so the flex was perfect for me.

I'm trying this tomorrow! I wish I would've discovered it sooner. I have to force myself to eat breakfast, but coffee is my thing! And with cocoa, too? I may just go to sleep early so I don't have to wait as long!
-
Can wait to try this!

Congratulations!! Thank you so much for sharing your story. We are the same height, I started out about 10 lbs heavier than you, and my goal is also 150. You are now my inspiration!!!

Amazing! Congratulations! You said you still had the things you enjoyed. Did you follow any kind of plan? Just cut calories? What kind of workouts did you do? You look fantastic!

Thanks everyone. I've been able to keep my calories low enough, but I'm not necessarily eating high fat. Most of my fat comes from the meat I eat, but that's usually chicken or pork chops. I want to make sure I'm not sabotaging myself by counting calories and still eating low carb. I guess I will continue to log everything…

I have both, LOVE the fitbit! It gives me much more information than the hrm. My calories burned stopped working correctly on my hrm about 2 wks after I bought it, which is another reason I prefer the fitbit. I will continue to use both, as I like seeing the progress I'm making towards a healthier heart rate, but if I had…

I've found myself having this problem! :drinker: Sure, it would be better to not get drunk every Sat, but that just hasn't worked for me... My husband makes us an awesome drunk snack that I don't feel guilty about! He takes chicken breasts cut into strips ( I buy the tenderloins - skinless, boneless chicken breasts already…

I have the same one, and the calories burned are ridiculous! It wasn't like that when I first started using it, but after about 3 weeks the calories burned nearly doubled. I just don't use that function anymore, which is extremely annoying since that is the main reason I purchased the HRM! I still use it for the HR…

I was over quite a lot because of all the alcohol.... But, I went to the gym and did cardio for 50 min, walked all morning for my neighborhood's festivities and got lots of outside play time with my kids. I figured my dedication to be at the gym on the 4th earned me a little indulgence. And now I'll be paying for…
