Really great simple advice so far, thanks ya'll

I do push myself but I'm trying to make sure my heart rate doesn't go over 180.

It doesn't seem like you have much to worry about. UNLESS you are constantly tanning, that's another story. You should wear SPF. The key to not getting burned it to keep applying it after every few hours. Also if you go in water (even if it's a sport sunscreen) re apply when you get out. I wear SPF on face every single…

You are cute and classy! Congradulations!

I am the same age and I feel the exact same way. I almost feel bad for my friends my age who have kids. I have so much more to do before I settle down and open that chapter of my life

Ask him what is more important Your health OR what he finds attractive Hopefully his answer is the first one...

This actually happened to me when I got off of it. I bled lightly for 2 months straight, it was awful!!

Thank you! Yea I might have to cave in and make one every morning. I'm not sure how nutritional and fresh it will taste after a few days in the fridge

Thanks :drinker:

I wonder this myself. I have mostly male friends and very few female friends. As far as I can tell my male friends only think of me as a friend. But who knows. It definitely has happened a few different times where a male friend has confessed his attraction for me. I hope they are not all my friends just because of my…

Wouldn't call myself a nerd or a gamer girl like most chicks love to throw around. But ever single second I get the PS3 to myself I am playing Skyrim. I am absolutely obsessed with that game!!!

I am not one of those women. I find it absolutely insane that people are calling this guy every name under the sun and they haven't even met him or heard his side of the story...

Since I don't know your fiancé personally I can't really respond like most people have and tell you to dump him because he's a bully. I've been in a relationship for almost 7 years now and my boyfriend and I have had conversations like this with each other before. I think being honest is healthy, but there is a fine line…

I have it but no longer use it. The advertising got really annoying and I have to watch what I post because I had a lot of old and young family members as friends. Also I felt like I was checking it too much. I basically only keep it for event invites.

I buy some fruit for the week and keep it in my lunch bag in the community fridge. But I also have Emerald Mixed Nuts, Quaker Oats Quakes, and usually some kind of chips form the Organic aisle, like Late July Dude Ranch chips.

Going to bars on the weekends is usually my downfall. So I always anticipate that I will be drinking at least 3 vodka drinks Friday and Saturday night. I'll try to eat smaller calorie and healthier meals on those days. If I don't end up going out on those nights then I can use the left over calories for a nice treat…

DO NOT wash your face before and after. You will most likely dry out your skin which in turn will make you produce more oil and give you more pimples. I am an esthetician (I know about skin). You can wash your face afterwards if you get really sweaty, some people I know carry facial wipes to the gym. If your not acne prone…

I have a lot of cousins around my age (in their 20's and 30's) on my father’s side. They are all really close, always talking to each other and going out in groups. I’m never invited, and these people have never helped me in life. Aside from funerals or weddings I never see them, half the time they don’t even recognize me.…

I absolutely HATE my neighbors. The people behind me are pieces of garbage. In fact the guy literally just dumps the heaps of trash out of his car into the back parking lot when there are trash barrels right next to him! Not to mention he is such a lazy pig he refuses to bring his garbage barrel to the curb. We let it sit…

RUN as fast as you can. This guy just sounds like a problem that no amount of hotness can fix. There is nothing good about a lingering ex. Think of all the drama you'll automatically be involved in. That's if he's even telling the truth. If not I would have to agree with others and say he's probably just trying to get in…

I never buy from the infomercials. I always assume it's crap. However I got two gifts in a Yankee swap the Clapper and the Slap Chop. Slap Chop broke almost immediately. The Clapper SUCKED. It would either not work at all or it would turn the lights off randomly. It even came with a remote and that didn’t work.

I agree. For once, a thread people aren't b*tching and arguing in! lol

Me neither I was with a group of about 10 and we rode from MA to Granville VT with barely any highway. This was in the fall too so the foliage was absolutely breathtaking. Probably my favorite run I've done so far even with all the rain we got. I was with a ducati, a virago, an excelsior, a triumph, and a bunch of other…

That is actually awesome! I give you more props for doing it on 150, VT is BEAUTIFUL. I never let people give me crap for having a 250. I'm very petitie and it would be stupid to upgrade to something bigger when I don't feel comfortable and can keep up with everyone else on my Rebel.
-
I think the coldest weather I've ridden in was 40 degree's plus rain in VT. But I know A LOT of people in NH and MA that ride all winter long.
-
I just learned to ride last summer. Bought a 86' Honda Rebel 250 and put 2k miles on it in 3 months. I've been to NY, NJ, VT, NH, RI, CT, and of course around MA where I live so far. Right now I'm putting a new exhaust, seat, rear fender, bars, and hopefully a tank. CANNOT WAIT FOR THE SPRING!!!

I never really tried a fad diet because I never had too much weight to lose. But once I noticed I started gaining weight I tried only eating salad for lunch every day and oatmeal for breakfast. Obviously didn't work because I followed that with tons of beer and huge portioned dinners, in addition to not exercising at all.

I saw that you said you are not good at cooking meals. Me neither. You should research some websites and cookbooks that have healthy recipe’s. A co worker recommended SkinnyTaste.com to me. I find all of her recipe’s delicious and easy to cook since she takes step by step pictures as well as instructions. Edited because I…

I would agree with what others have said. Work on your self control most importantly. Just say NO to yourself, no matter how much that food is calling to you. Take baby steps. Try just logging the food first. Once you start doing that consistently try eating in the appropriate calorie range. This may takes weeks or months…
