  • AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are at my goal weight, actually my "in a dream" goal weight. You look sooo good and soo happy. Inspirational!
  • I'm doing the T25 now. Started week 3 today. It's hard --- I'm an overweight, nearly 45 year old woman though. Every workout, except for Sunday stretching (which I LOVE) leaves me in a puddle of my own sweat (which I also LOVE). As for results, I already feel a lot stronger and my clothes are already fitting better. No…
  • So very, very inspiring. Congratulations on your milestone. I'm sure your girls are so proud of you!
  • Great job! Time for a new shirt --- or your going to have to have someone else in there with you to fill it out! :)
  • Before my 40th birthday I vowed to lose weight ---- silently cause I wanted it to be for me to show me I can do it. I did it and lost over 30 pounds, and reshaped my body so that I was in clothes smaller than what I was wearing the day I got married at 25! Fast forward and now I'm facing my 45th birthday in the coming…
  • Me too, except I'm the youngest of 4 but the others are so much older (13 - 16 years older) than me that I grew up alone. Feel exactly the same way, but, unfortunately, have no solutions. Trying MFP again. Used to love working out, still do, but just don't do it now. I'm getting so overweight, I don't even recognize myself…
  • 5'3.5" about 185 lbs. I'm somewhere between 12 - 14 (mostly wishful thinking and sucking it in). Don't know about the fancy designer stuff but It might be worth it to spend the extra money to feel good! :)
  • Great work! Need to start an exercise regime and I have this at home. Not sure how the program works though. Do you do 10 days straight at each level or can you do every other day over a span of 20 days at each level. I thought I read somewhere that when doing weights you shouldn't do the same exercise back to back. Can…
  • AMAZING! Congratulations!
  • First off, congrats on figuring out where your problem lies. That's huge! Now that you know you can focus on fixing the problem. Is is the time of day, the weather, stressful situations, having something all your own? Knowing is half the battle. I wish I knew. Being close to success, being a failure, being sad, tired…
  • Thank you for this posting. It is informational and thought provoking... Just what the doctor ordered!
  • I'm embarrassed to say that I'm writing almost immediately after a binge. I didn't even feel bad about it because I had my period to blame and decided that was a good enought excuse to eat my day's calories at my lunch hour. I'm guessing normal people don't do this. I was doing pretty too. went to two celebrations over the…
  • I'm a mom to a 16 year old boy and 13 year old girl. I know stress from children --especially my 16 year old. He's not exactly a go-getter but he's getting there. When he is good, he is great but when he is bad.... well you know. Anyway, I have the same problem with eating when things get tough. It soothes me, although…
  • While I am totally in the same boat as all of you (and I've joined the binge eater group too, cause that's me too) I have to say I am encouraged by all of your successes. I'm in the place where I just want to quit but I'm thinking if others with these same challenges can make such strides, then I have no excuse.
  • You are so not alone. Wish there was an answer or someway to "cure" this. I just want to be a normal person again.
  • My binges are always alone. I'm a model eater in front of others. My in-laws are really weight conscious and totally judge people by how they look and make comments like "c'mon eat, we know you must like to eat". I have trigger times and trigger foods but the time seems to be more dangerous than the foods. Always from the…
  • I love Zumba. Even when I'm down and not feeling well, I always want to Zumba. I have 30DS too and have done it sporadically, but I guess I need to man up and get going now. I try to do this in the mornings, but it's just so hard to get up early! Your results pics are getting posted on my snooze button so I know why I'm…
  • AMAZING!!! You have shown what hard word and determination can do. I hope you can reach all your goals. It would be great to find a trainder like you who has been there and done that and rocked it out! Good for you!
  • AMAZING!!! You look wonderful and so happy. Wear that hot bod like a medal. You deserve it!
  • This is AWESOME!! That's what I would do! If you are happy -- he will be too -- trust!
  • You've just done what you need to do to hold off the snowball -- you acknowledged your problem, asked for help and now you get to move on better than before, knowing that a slip up is just that and doesn't have to be anything more.
  • On thing that helped me is to include what time of day you are eating, what you are feeling when you decide to eat (i.e., hungry, bored, frantic, tired, sad, happy, etc.) incude a real diary with your journal. You are looking for a pattern or trend here so you need to give yourself some time to be able to find that. This…
  • Sounds amazing! This might be what I do this Friday night!
  • Congratulations! Not only do you look amazing, you look so happy!
  • What a coincidence that you post this now. I did my first Pilates class with my daughter last night. She has a spine curvature and the doctor suggested swimming and Yoga/Pilates to help the situation. It was a tough workout! However, when I logged the time in (45 minutes), it was a lot less than my 25 minutes circuit work…
  • You have always been a beautiful girl but now you are also a wonderful inspiration. I'm sure your dad is very proud. Congratulations!
  • I'm 5'3" and 184 lbs and in a size 12 now. Size is a tough measure because it depends on the designer, make of your clothing. In evening wear dresses, I'm more of a 14. Levis its a 12 for sure. I'm well packed and gain weight all over, so its evenly distributed and won't show up on sizes as quickly. I just look "big". When…
  • I got 2 -- An almost 16 year old boy and an almost 13 year old girl. The boy plays basketball and baseball and maybe even volleyball this year. My daughter sings in the choir and now will be taking up swimming. I work a 9 - 5 and go to school at night (hopefully graduating this year). Talk about out of time and out of…
  • I've gott issues with sweets, emotional eating, binge eating, etc. The key is to not let one "bad" day ruin the rest of your good intentions. Log it and forget it. Stay on track and chalk it up life has slip ups and they should all be as good as that chocolate you ate! :) BTW, I'm new to this site (1st week) and have to…
