  • Thanks! That is really helpful and the recipe sounds pretty good. I will look into that. Thanks again!
  • Thanks for the help. I know what I can't eat, I was just wondering if anyone had similar issues and had suggestions for meals or something like that. I feel like all the good food has been taken away. lol
  • It took 3 days for me to get a login. It reminds me a lot of MFP, but I really like the exercise portion. It logs it for you and tells you what/how to do it. There are also tons of tips from the coaches.
  • Thanks for the replies guys. I finally got my login for the challenge and will start with that challenge tomorrow. Unfortunately I cannot use their diet suggestions, because although they are healthy and look yummy, I have to be on a low oxalate diet. The training videos are nice. Will keep you updated!
  • Hi! I'm from Lafayette Indiana and we usually get all the snow. I think we sent it your way because it actually reached 60 here around New Year's. This is unheard of in this region. We are happy to get to 33 degrees during our winter
  • Hi! I am glad to hear you and your hubby are in it together. I am still pushing my husband to start....lol. I started on the site a week ago, so I am new as well. If you need a friend on here for accountability/venting purposes I'm here to help! Good luck.
  • I like this question too! These are all also low oxalate foods for anyone dealing with kidney stones! 1. skim milk 2. apples 3. browm rice 4. fruitless yogurt 5. low butter popcorn 6. peaches 7. starburst (a few go a long way and kick the sweet tooth) 8. rice cakes 9. country time lemonade 10. seedless grapes
  • I get the sweeling as well. If you move your arms as described by the mayo excerpt above and stay well hydrated the swelling may decrease. That is what I do and it keeps them from hurting as badly.
  • Yup! My husband got me hooked. One of my favs.
  • When I graduated, I was 130. I am the largest I have ever been at 185 lbs. I am supposed to be between 140-165. lol. I would like to be 140. I like being a size 4 opposed to a size 12.
  • Congrats! I have been married for 3 years and agree husband's can pull us in opposite directions. It's great to see your progress though!
  • I'm at my highest wight too, but at least we are trying to do something about it! You will get there, just be patient and steadfast.
  • Hi! I am new and would be your MFP friend. Could you elaborate on your food plan? I am trying to get ideas for foods to eat. Most healthy foods I can't eat and so I have to get creative.
  • I like to workout to Skillet, Muse, Disturbed,Seether and others along those lines.
