less than needed to maintain your current weight, that is if you want to lose weight.

People are negative on other things too, like weight lifting and crossfit. I got emails about the evils of crossfit after I expressed interest.

Amazing job. You look like an entirely different person, which makes sense, because you really ARE after all the changes in your life. Congratulations !

I JUST finished the training classes I had to take in order to join. I don't know if this is what all "boxes" do, or what, but I was blown away! In a good way! I am excited for the first time in a long to to be on a new road to fitness. The trainers I've had have been awesome at scaling the stuff back so I can do it.…

Thanks for the input! I will try some of these things.

I've done WW years ago with 50 lb. weight loss and maintained it for years. After having kids AND WW changing the program, I tried at least 3 more times and did not experience success. I DO think tracking is the key when it comes to diet, and it is free on MFP. MFP also has all or most of the nutritional info, so WW does…

I was wondering the same thing, more so because eating 2 pieces of fruit/day just about uses up my sugars for the day. I don't eat a lot of foods with added sugars, yet everyday when I'm done logging in what I ate, I am always over in the sugars. I don't know how to eat fruit and really keep the sugar levels where they are…

Simple not schlepping around like I'm 90 when I'm only 41. And possible a face laser treatment for rosacea.

I didn't lose weight when I breast fed, for the entire 8 months. SO, I get pissed when I hear all the BF weight loss stories. I guess the take away is, it works for SOME people, but it is not a fact that if works for everyone. In fact, it impeded my loss.

Good to find out stuff like that. Good luck to you!

Congrats to you! Looking great!

I lost 50 pounds on WW years ago on Flex Points and kept it off. I rejoined nurmerous times after having a child and was unsuccessful. I think the changes that were made recently put the program too much in the company's interest, and slowed weight loss down in the process. I think when the new CEO came along, the program…

I always said "if only I had a later work schedule I'd work out in the a.m.". Then I heard from a co-worker about her friend who got up at 4:30 a.m when her kids were little to run. I decided to start 5 a.m. workouts and it has been great. It helps "set" a healthy tone for the day, I get a good workout and I don't feel…

add a few intervals of incline if you can, just a few minutes at a time, in between walking level

Thanks all. I won't worry about the fat burning zone thing. Just burning the calories. Good luck to all of you on reaching your goals as well!

Thanks! Good laugh to boot!

You are SO right. I went to Dr. and demanded metabolic bloodwork, as I was working out hard and "thought" I was limiting calories. All bloodwork was fine, so I decided to truly track calories in via MFP, and exercise calories, via HRM, and have found that I was no quite calculating things properly. I realize that also,…
