I find it easier. I'm at home so no temptation to buy junk food (there is none in the house), I can eat whenever I'm hungry so I don't end up binging and I have time to prepare proper food rather than snacking on something quick. Plus there's more time to get some exercise in :)

Whatever activity you enjoy. If it doesn't feel like a chore it's easier to get it done and repeat it throughout the week.

More or less. If in doubt, overestimate. Though it may be better to leave guessing to "safe" foods like vegetables where 20g one way or the other is like 10 kcal.

If it's interfering with your day to day activities then go to the doctor. If it's not you can wait it off.

I get that too and am trying to work out what's been causing it. The last two times I ate lots of protein after working out and I haven't had a headache.

I'd like to point out there are no references to actual studies in the article. Just "research suggests" etc. It's empty words without actual data.

I don't believe I am eating more than I think. I've been doing this for over a year and am down 30 pounds, I think my measurements and calculations are correct by now.
-
I think that's a good idea, thanks :)

I got fat because I tolerated a 1kg weight gain at a time because "it's just 1kg so it's ok". Of course it matters. It's not. It never "fluctuates" to my goal weight so it's not water.

Use a metric scale ;)

There's a lot of people complaining about their doctors telling them to lose weight. They look after your health. Being overweight is bad for your health. It's their JOB to tell you you need to lose weight. For many people that's the final push they need towards a healthier diet. Just because you're touchy on the subject…

Seeing that you described all those events I think you already know why you're not getting your period. You need to put on weight and see someone about your feelings. Both low weight and stress can cause amenorrhea. :flowerforyou:

A hurting big toe can be caused by gout, yes, but also: - mechanical injury eg. stubbed toe, tight shoes - arthritis, both rheumatoid and osteoarthritis - infection - diabetic foot pain - ingrowing nail - peripheral neuropathy - bunions -bursitis - osteomyelitis - Paget's Disease of the bone - Tarsal tunnel syndrome I'm…

Make strawberry sauce that you can then have with pasta! It's actually really good and very popular in Eastern Europe. All you do is mush up strawberries with sour cream or other cream or plain/vanilla yoghurt. You can do it by hand using a fork (the way I'd normally do it) but I'm sure you could also whizz it through a…

I weigh the whole batch in grams and I make that the number of servings there are in the recipe. So for example if one batch makes 300grams, I'd set it to say it makes 300 servings. That way the next time you just weigh your portion, eg. 15 grams, and say you had 15 servings.

This. I think weight might be what you're most self-conscious about so you immediately assume that's the reason. You should ask her straight out why it is that you don't get along, it could just be a misunderstanding and something you two could get over in a matter of minutes.

If in doubt, aerobics

My weight doesn't really fluctuate. I jest get major chocolate cravings so I risk overeating :grumble:

Resume your normal schedule and use your downfall as motivation.

I use the phone app to log things as I cook, that way nothings gets left out and I know the calories are accurate

I originally set my weight at 59kg, now that I'm 2kg away from that goal I lowered it to 54kg. At the time I just wanted to be at the middle of my healthy BMI but seeing that I have a tendency to eat too much rather than too little I now want to be a slight bit below the middle.

Anyone can say that about any food. So you don't like cottage cheese- don't get it again, don't eat it, and get on with your life. Simple.
-
"weight gain" actually means "appetite gain", it doesn't physically put weight on you. As long as you eat within your limits you won't gain weight.

It doesn't really matter, eat whenever you're hungry. Even Europeans vary how they space their meals. In Poland there is breakfast, then big dinner around 1-2 pm, then supper in the evening. In Ireland there is breakfast, lunch and then big dinner around 7-8pm.
