People with Depression, how do you stay on track during a low?
I can do really well with healthy eating and exercise when my mood is alright but as soon as I slump back down it's all pizza and chocolate. What are your tips for staying on track during a bad period?

High activity level and exercise - how do you find the energy?
I walk about 8-10 km a day at work according to my Fitbit. By the time I get home I'm physically wrecked and spend the rest of the evening resting. What do others in this situation do? Do you do scheduled exercise on top of your work activity? Do you just manage the rest with diet?

Can I decrease body fat percentage using diet and cardio only?
Or do you need to add muscle training to get significant results? Edit: I'm female and currently at around 25%, I want to go down to about 21%

Has anyone reached their goal weight and decided it's too low?
I reached my original goal and decided to go lower. I reached my second goal now and want to go lower again (still within my healthy BMI range) but I'm scared I'll feel too skinny. Has anyone else experienced this? How do you know when you're "skinny enough"?

Am I at maintenance if my weight isn't moving?
I've been eating at roughly 1300 calories throughout my weight loss and making good progress but now my weight hasn't moved since October. I'm only 1kg away from the goal I set myself. I get shaky and irritable if I eat below 1300. Does that mean 1300 is my maintenance number?

Can't lose the last 1kg!
I've hit a plateau since October with just 1kg to lose. I've lost 14kg so far (I weigh 56kg now), am eating at 1300kcal and have a fairly busy lifestyle. I dropped to 1200kcal for two weeks and the weight didn't budge, I was just grumpy all the time. How do I shift my last kilogram? Eat less? Exercise more?

Struggling to adjust to new body
I'm nearly at my goal weight, which I'm happy about, but I'm struggling to adjust to my new size. It just doesn't feel like it's my body, when I look in the mirror it feels like I'm looking at someone else. I know many people will think that's a good thing but it's actually causing me some degree of anxiety. Did anyone…

What was your NSV this week?
I went jogging for the first time. I used to be too unfit to run more than a few seconds but I managed to handle 1 min bursts followed by 2 min brisk walk breaks for half an hour. Not much but it made me really happy! :)

Looking for refried beans recipe
I have a lot of refried beans and I'm the only one in the house that eats them so I'm looking for recipes! I already added them into my wraps but I need other ways of eating them. Do you add anything to them to make a quick snack/ lunch? Any other ideas? Thanks! :flowerforyou:

Miscalculating calories
I'm having a bit of a rant. My sister wanted to order pizza and I wasn't planning on having any until I noticed it would fit into my daily calorie limit so, why not? I pre-logged and ordered it. It wasn't until after I ate the pizza that I realized I logged the wrong crust and that in reality I most definitely did not have…

EXHAUSTED after exercise?
I have a problem where some workouts tire me to the point where I can't function for the rest of the day. So far this has happened with hiking and walking 10k so moreso prolonged moderate effort rather than short but difficult exercise. It's not about muscle soreness, I just feel sleepy for the rest of the day and could…

Day streak on app with no internet?
Will I lose my day streak if I log things on the app without an internet connection?

It takes 12 weeks for the world to notice your body changing
This is true! Today my Zumba instructor pointed out that I've lost weight. This was the first time someone outside of my friends/family circle pointed it out and it made me remember this picture. I checked back on how long I've been monitoring my calories and sure enough, it's been roughly 12 weeks! So don't give up,…

One 1H session or two 30 min sessions?
Sweet and to the point: Does it make a difference in burned calories if I exercise for one hour straight or for 30 mins at two different times during the day? Is one better than the other?

Not sure of the name of my exercise?
I went to a class called "push and pump" which I'm guessing is the gym's own name cause it's not on the MFP database. :grumble: The class involved lunges and squats with small weights, pushups and a bit of cardio (jumping jacks/sprinting). I thought it was fairly intense but this was my first time attending a class like…

Help with the last few kg?
I only have about 7kg left to lose but it's just discouraging how little the scale is moving (not at all in fact :grumble:) and I'm not seeing any difference in clothes either. I am very good with weighing and logging my food and tracking my exercise. I'm on 1200 a day and usually keep to it except on a weekly cheat day…

What sport are you doing and why do you like it?
I've been doing general running and cycling so far but I'd like to try something else. Just wondering what you guys are doing and why you enjoy it?

How many calories minimum do you try to burn per workout?
I've always though 200kcal was a good baseline to aim for which can be exceeded if I'm up for it  What do you have as your minimum goal?
-
Which app do you use to track burnt calories?
I'm between RunKeeper and Couch to 5k. On one hand RunKeeper has more activities and tracking options available but Couch to 5K has preset fitness plans. Which one do you prefer?

Weight goes up before it drops?
I noticed recently before any weight loss my weight would first go up about 1 kg before dropping to 1kg less than it was originally. This can happen over the course of about 2-3 days and then the weight just drops overnight. I'm not doing anything extreme with my diet or water quantities, just sticking to my goals. Can…

My NSV, what is yours this week?
Today I went to a charity bake sale organized by my friends. Out of the whole table of baked goods I picked one small treat that didn't mess up my calories for the day. This is the first time I was able to keep my cool and not overdo it at a bake sale :)

Nausea and headache after intense exercise?
I was wondering if anyone has any hints on how to avoid nausea and headaches after intense exercise. I will be doing an annual mountain hike this weekend and the last two times I did it I had a horrible headache and nausea by the time I got down! I'm not out of shape, others doing the hike don't even exercise regularly yet…
