  • Oh my gosh - I don't know how I'm going to keep up with everyone on this thread! I'm still reading through trying to get to know everyone. I guess I'll keep lurking until I'm feeling a bit more like I'm on top of what's going on in all your lives. - On the good news front I've taken off over a pound since my "rededication"…
  • Hi, its been awhile since I've been on this thread. Work and life made for convenient excuses. However, I've let some weight creep back on and have decided today to rededicate myself to my health. This lovely group of ladies was instrumental in my success the first time and so I've return for your support again. I'll do my…
  • Try Jillian Michaels body revolution
  • I found the group again!!!! I'm not sure I'm liking the way they've restructured the communities on MFP. Hope everyone is doing well and finding their way back here!
  • I think a 5 lb temporary gain is possible given what you described. How much to you normally gain right before your period (I could sometimes put on as much as 3 lbs)? What have you seen in the past for sodium water retention - 1-2 lbs? In your "perfect storm" I think 5 lbs are possible. Try drinking lots of water and…
  • Decided to go back and do WO 5 again. Loved it!!!!! I really felt like I got a good workout. Loved the energy from the group. Will do WO6 tomorrow before my bike ride. I'm thinking maybe I'll do JMBR on Monday's and Tuesday's so I make sure I keep up my strength and cardio levels. Other DVD's don't seem to push me as hard.…
  • You have so got this! finish strong
  • I was searching for post-JMBR exercise DVD's. Most of the lists I saw for the best DVD's had the JMBR (viewing the clips made me miss it  ). a lot of the recos were for her extreme ripped in 30 so I'm going to try that. Cathe came up often - has anyone tried her DVDs? I did Preventions 3-2-1 today. It was good but not…
  • I pretty much like all of phase 2 and 3 with the exception of WO 11 - I hated that one. I've been trying other circuit training DVD's and while I'm getting a decent workout none seem as challenging or upbeat as JMBR. I think I'm going to be repeating 5-10 again (anything to avoid WO11 though  )
  • Welcome (and congrats on the new baby). Please post how your workouts are going on the workout thread: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1279178-jmbr-workout
  • Was missing JM so did her NMTZ DVD. There were a lot of the same BR moves. I have to say I missed the energy of a big group working out with her. Still a good work out. How is everyone doing on the program? I'm thinking of going back and starting again from phase 2 - anyone else do something like that?
  • I'm still playing with my post JMBR workouts. I've been trying to mix up pure strength (did Jackie Warner's Personal Training) with cardio/circuit training. Yesterday I did the 10 minute solution bootcamp, which seemed like more cardio as there wasn't a lot of weight bearing exercises. Today I'm trying RIPPED. I'm going to…
  • I'm just under 5'2" myself and weigh 118. I did get down to the 114's before JMBR, but I've put on muscle and now am up almost 4 lbs. I think 110 might be too low - it is the very bottom of our weight range (for our height). What size is your frame? Unless you are small boned you might be looking to go too low. How do you…
  • You can totally do this. I was really nervous about 9 & 10 and honestly didn't feel that they were such a big step up - now 11 on the other hand - that one just killed me! Good luck and remember you got this!
  • sure. I was on maintenance when I started so wasn't looking to lose weight. I've actually put on 4 lbs but I believe its muscle because my clothes are looser now than when I started. I wasn't good about taking measurements before I started but I've lost the most inches from my thighs, waist and hips. You can actually see…
  • I DID IT. I just finished WO 12 for the last time. I never thought I would get to the end when I bought this program. I still am amazed at how JM whipped me into shape. I'll be going to mix phase 2 and 3 workouts into whatever will be my new routine to keep all that conditioning and strength going. Keep it up guys!
  • did my last WO 11 YEAH. I have to say it actually felt manageable, but I still don't think that is one I'll go back to much if at all once I'm done (in 2 days). I really have to seriously start to think about what's next. Would love thoughts and suggestions. What are you all thinking you will do post JMBR????
  • I was nervous about starting phase 3 but found 9 and 10 were not as big a leap as I thought...11 and 12 however are - especially 11. I will tell you that there is a lot of jumping with weights and she does a number of squat moves where she wants you to drop your bum lower than your knees in phase 3 - which is tough on the…
  • I know exactly what you mean about her (name unknown) - I'm constantly thinking she is suppose to be motivating me and instead I'm working harder than she is. Mimi cracks me up. I love Kenta and have even forgiven him for the bear walk move he came up with. David is amazing...Omar too! I do like that we get to know her…
  • I have just started the last week - amazing to me. WO 11 felt marginally easier but I still need to do the modifications and don't always get all the reps in (the chatarunga hold and jumping pushups kill me). I only have to do it one more time! How is everyone else doing?
  • I'll be right here with you. Today is a cardio day, but I've got one more week of Jillian Michael's Body Revolution - so I'll post those there and here....it is so tough but I've learned lots of new moves. If you are interested let me know for which body parts and I'll share them. Glad you're back at it! Jodios
  • Barb - are you interested in starting this thread back up? I don't think anyone has posted on it for a long time. I've been doing Jillian Michaels body revolution which is a 3 month program. I'm about to start my last week so I've been thinking about what I want to do next...but it will definitely include strength…
  • WO 12 done - onto the very last week....I can do this!!!!!!! (that is if JM doesn't kill me first
  • just did my second WO 11 - didn't feel like I was going to pass out - but man its tough. I'm so happy I only have to do it 2 more times Dana - I've found phase 3 is hard on my low back - especially the last 2 weeks - so be careful when you get back there
  • Just did WO 12 (missed yesterday due to work and fear  ). It was tough but not quite as tough as WO 11. I didn't get a lot of sleep last night and was a bit dizzy during the 4th circuit so didn't get the cardio interval in (just walked around for the minute and then finished up). I'm not sure these 2 WO's will every…
  • I do yoga because it feels so good to get that deep stretch in and I love how relaxed I am after.
  • did WO 11 for the first time today - whoa!!!!! I had trouble finishing some of the reps. I was exhausted by the time it was over. Dreading WO 12 tomorrow. She really kicked it up for the last 2 weeks. I'm just hoping to survive it!
  • Like many on this thread, I'm not a big fan of her cardio workouts either. Instead I do cardio workouts I love: biking along the river, dancing, kickboxing etc. I tend to look forward to these workouts and burn a lot of calories (vs. dreading her cardio and trying to avoid it). As long as you are working a bit outside your…
  • I've also been thinking about what I'll do next. I've got a little over 2 weeks left. I do have some other JM DVD's that I've never gotten to the harder levels on so I might try those...I just like the BR program a lot. So I guess I'll probably also go back and repeat phase 3 (or if has been awhile go back to phase 2) I…
  • Just finished week 9 - hard to believe I only have 3 weeks left. I did the workouts out of order because when the weather was good we went on long bike rides along the river trail (counted as my cardio). So I think I might do 9 then cardio before 10 since I just did 10 today...I'm not sure how much it really matters as…
