yup...but roughly 8 quality street choccies would meet your 1200 calorie limit (not sure about the broccoli...but the thought of only eating 8 quality street leaves me shuddering!!!....1200 calories of broccoli (alone!) probably leaves me farting!!!

Actually on your 2 "fast" days you are NOT meant to eat back your exercise calories. The recommendation is about 500 calories for women and 600 for men. The other 5 days should be at maintenance. This is very generalised advice. Read Mosely's book for more specifics :-)

lol...love this reply!! I agree with most of it. Would also like to add that most Europeans dont go on the 3 meals and 2 snacks a day mantra that appears to prevail in the UK and USA! They also tend to lead pretty outdoorsie lives, lots of mountain hiking in the summer, tennis, swimming and skiing in the winter. Just to…

agree with twix

Thing is.... noone asked for your opinion specifically... your choice to give it. In my opinion, give advice graciously.. or not at all!!
-
love this reply!!!

VERY good reply!! And coming from the UK I was also perplexed as to why you shouldnt donate blood just because you are following a weight reduction diet. Over here, those with serious health issues and low hb are advised not to donate... for goodness sakes... sorry you got such WRONG information!!!

why just in the States???

redheaddee...why is this remark necessary??...

Diet is the food we consume on a regular basis whether it be a vegan diet, high protein, fast food, reducing, diabetic or whatever. Lifestyle is what we do in our everyday lifes. Change in lifestyle can incompass a whole host of things including changes to our diet!
