I started with NROLFW and lasted a few phases then it became way to convoluted for my taste. I've completed StrongLifts and liked it much more, then PHUL which was a fave. Now I'm sticking with Jessie Hilgenberg programs and love LOVE them. Great nutrition programming comes with it. HTH

I need to do a cut I think. There is definitely some body fat covering my muscles. I can feel my gains but not see them. I think I'm around 28% BF :-( My weekend diet is taking away from my weekday diet. Grrrr! I need to track and be consistent.

I'm doing the 4 day split, not following the diet (yet...?). I like it but the higher rep stuff isn't my bag, I'm more a 4-6 heavier weight type but I'm trying to follow the program...

Sumo -- I can pull about 50lbs more with it. But..................................................I'm short (5.1") and often wonder if I am cheating.

I've been a good food logger this week which makes me happy - I've stayed close to my goals each day. Although I don't remember when I set the calories so I should go see what the weight loss goal is set at. Lol! Also tomorrow will be day 4 of lifting for me this week which is on plan. Cheers!

Is there a benefit to doing the leg press? I've been doing it on hypertrophy days kind of as a toss in (hanging head in shame - I subbed them for barbell lunges because i loathe lunges....). Maybe I am wasting my time?

This. Including crossfit, even. I am so antisocial when I work out - group anything makes me breakout in hives. My neighbour got the hint when I put my headphones on when she tagged along to the gym with me. #sorry-ish

My husband wants to get us a home gym setup because he hates the gym - the hours he can go it's packed. I go at 5:30am and it's gloriously vacant. And my kids and dog don't find me. He thinks if/when we get a home gym I will stop lifting at the gym. Sssssshhhhh - but.....he's wrong.

Do you macro counters weigh your food - IIFYM style? I know I won't be able to sustain this but do want to eat more macro focussed

@leajas1 you have my goal arms! <3 I just got my TLS book and am reading through it and continuing PHUL until I get to the workout section. What ab exercises are you adding in? Also I'm a heavy hip thruster fan so definitely will have to get that into my program....
