Find a workout that you absolutely LOVE and that will call you out of bed in the morning :) I also have my alarm clock set with the message saying "You won't get results hitting snooze!!"

The 30 Day Shred is BRUTAL but Start at level 1 and stick with it! Do each level for 10 days and move on if you are comfortable. You will not be disappointed. It does wonders for love handles and thighs. I lost 6 inches just off my belly with my first round!

Thanks for all the compliments and encouragement! My initial goal was just to get to a healthy BMI and Body Fat %. But now that I'm in the healthy range and I'm getting the hang of it, I'm excited to see what else can be done with a little work :bigsmile:

Thanks! I'm a very visual person. I had to do the pics like that too keep myself motivated! When I felt like I wasn't getting anywhere, I'd look at them, compare every little detail and keep going!

I didn't combine. I just did the 30 day Shred EVERY day for the 30 days and was happy to squeeze in the 30 minutes of "me time" LOL From 178-134 took from March 2005 to August 2011. Not sure if this helps or not but Here are my Before and Afters of my face, 2005 (almost 20) - 2013 (almost 28)... I'm not sure whether i look older or younger. But, I do know, it makes a big difference and i'd rather look whatever age I look now!

Thanks so much :) funny thing is, that's probably exactly what I was doing wrong! If I ate breakfast, it would be a sandwich, dinner would be a sandwich (sometimes two) and supper would be from a box of some sort! Seemed like a lot less food but it was keeping me heavier!

Glad I'm not the only one :) I guess you just get it in your head that a "diet" means going to bed with hunger pains, not being able to eat after supper and not being able to enjoy your favorite foods. I started off eating at 1200 but after reading too many posts about how horrible that was, I upped it. Figured out my BMR and TDEE, don't FULLY understand it but I know that my BMR is a bit more than 1300 and my TDEE-20% is around 1700...so I just try to net above 1300 but under 1700.
