Thanks for the feedback everyone. I work in icu at a hospital, I do usually bring my food with me overnight and keep it in the fridge. I will try the 1800 until my doctor appointment and see how it goes.

Hi guys, I realize the 45 lbs isn't happening. As I said I would like to give it his best shot and hopefully they will see he's making an effort and they will give him a chance. So back to the main concern, would low carbs or low cal be more beneficial?

I don't think it should cause any bloat unless you're drinking it? If you just swish with it, there shouldn't be an issue. Just keep drinking plenty of water if you are worried.
