She is not spending 2 hours in the gym as some have noted. I would like to comment, and clarify a few things. First, I find it funny how some of you will criticize for someones gym hours, just because you don't think it's an appropriate time to train. Just so everyone knows, Queenbee is my wife. In Jan of 2014 I started…

No excuses, the gym is my temple for the last 2 years. I was grossly overweight and in poor health/physical condition. So 2 years ago, like many II made a new years resolution, only I stuck to it. I'm in my mid fifties and it was time to stop screwing around. My drive was/is still my family. They count on me to take care…

Sorry dude but you need to grow a pair. If you want to be passive that's your right. I hope he was embarrassed. He deserved it. Clearly this guy is selfish and arrogant. One thing I won't tolerate is rude and inconsiderate behavior in the gym. That's the trouble with ppl today and not just in the gym, they don't care about…

If you're having trouble keeping up with the protein intake from food, have you tried adding in with shakes or bars? They're easy to consume, and have great protein value depending on the powder you choose. Also cutting your carbs will help. For me, a perfect day is 2-1 ration of protein over carbs. 229 grams for a female…

That right there. That good feeling you have, is enough for me to stay motivated. I can still remember how sluggish I was when I was overweight. That's the motivation right there. Once you reach a happy point, it's much easier to maintain. I have used this app religiously for 2 years now and it's the biggest reason for my…

What are your goals?

Hi Gayle, I'm Bernie. I'm in Md. What are your goals?
-
The only way you'll know that is if you're wearing some type of heart rate monitor. If you enter under cardio instead of strength, it will calculate it for you. But be advised, it's just an approximation. Invest in a HRM to be more accurate on calories burned. They are worth it

Feel free. Hit me up anytime.

Use this app to it's full advantage. Weigh and measure everything. Hit the gym, cardio and weights. Those have been the biggest help in my lifestyle change. Also, diligence! You have to have that to be successful. It would also help to know a lil about you. What's your goal?

Congrats on your success you look wonderful.

Awesome job. Way to take control of your life. Feels good doesn't it? I accepted your FR btw.

Outstanding job bro

Down 90lbs. Didn't take as long as dated in the pics. I dropped the initial 80lbs in the first 7 months. The rest of the time has been fine tuning. Still not done. Starting weight was 290lbs

This, right here. Plain and simple. A person will never change unless they want to. I started here 2 years ago and haven't missed logging 1 day. This app has been a tremendous help. But you gotta stick with it.

Just a quick update, still goin strong. Down to around 200lbs now. Here's a couple current pics. Been a while since I've posted. Also into a 32" waist now.

Amazing accomplishment. You should be very proud! Congrats on your success. You look great

LOL yeah I'll be 54 in May. Thanks for the kind words everyone. It's been a tough road at some points, but the worst is behind me now. Maintaining and improving on what I have done should be a lil easier. Anyone can do this, it's just a matter of how bad you want/need it. I did this more for my family, as they need me and…

You have done such an amazing job. Smart, beautiful and fit. Such a winning combination. Your efforts have paid off immensely. Massive props to your dedication to persevere.

Outstanding job. You look amazing. Well done and congrats!

Thanks everyone. Emilia, it's no set workout. The cardio was a minimum of an our a day for the first 6 months. No weights, then I slowly added the weight training, usually 1 major body part, every-other day and cardio. On non weight days, it's cardio and abs. Can be from anywhere from 4-6 days a week, depending on how much…

I've been where all of you have. I started here in Jan of last year and have done well. I log everyday religiously and am very active. To all above, feel free to add me for support, Good luck to all of you B)

It's a slow process. Are you burning more calories then you're taking in? How much exercise are you doing and how often? What's your diet like? Lots of factors here. Feel free to add me to your FL. I'm very active here everyday.
