What irks me today are transplants to my area that drive like crap, eating over my caloric goal and global warming because it's warm as all get out in my area when it shouldn't be. Welcome to my MFP talk.

For me, it fluctuates. I use to feel hungry all day, everyday. Now, with a lot of my consumption under control, I have to keep in mind to eat, eat healthier than not and not use over-eating as a crutch for stress/stressors. Example: Today I had gotten a wide range of bad news and wanted to stuff my face but then realized I…

My recommendation: Wear anything with a drawstring, pants-wise of course.

As of today (7/11/2022) I've lost 18 lbs since 5/25/2022. Ultimately I'd like to get down to a healthy 130-140 lbs by Sept of 2023. Note, my caloric intake is not 2,000 Calories per day but closer to 1200. Best wishes to everyone on getting healthier

Soup, either traditional chicken/vegetable soup, or maybe Pho (Vietnamese soup) or toss into your own homemade ramen. We've also shredded and tossed into pan with BBQ sauce (but be mindful of the sauce as it does add sugar, calories, etc.) and made BBQ chicken sandwiches. Also, maybe a chicken Cesar wrap, or blend with…

I've started! Cut a lot of bad stuff out of my consumption (reconditioning to a healthier food regimen really is a lifestyle change, as cliche' as it sounds.) Since May 25th I've lost 12 lbs because of healthier foods/calorie counting. I'm also doing low impact workouts and have just last week incorporated weights.…

Back when I hit the gym (now I workout at home) I saw the same thing happen. It didn't make sense as to why people weren't returning the free weights back to where the came from.

Depends on the guy because each one is different. My husband does have an awesome butt and chest though. hehe

Focusing on getting healthier during Covid time. This may be the only smiley face I slap on this situation for awhile. lol

Small portions of food with tons of flavor, like bulgogi, daikon radish, etc. And any kind of salads for breakfast instead of the usual breakfast foods. (I'm trying to get past my sweet tooth by shoving everything healthy in gullet instead). lol I have to say, salads for breakfast are far more satiating and I'm not left…

Good job with trying again! I am as well. I figure if I look at what I'm doing for the day for consumption, it makes things a little less daunting. :)

What is it you need to know?

Aging gracefully is a thing. Who isn't trying to? I mean, unless you are kinda over zealous on being lazy.

And I want to clarify that we aren't talking about cauliflower "steaks" right? **eye roll** NOOO! Not cauliflower. Full on, red-blooded meatarian meat.

Core and arms.... Only 25 min. I'm doing a 30 day plan. (Planks are challenging the more time there is to say the least. lol)

Smartfoods Cheese popcorn. It's salty/carby-like, and you can eat a lot of it without it shoving your caloric intake really high.

Protein! (Always have some pre-cooked if possible). (Light?) weight training helps burn more calories, develop muscle mass, allows you to eat more. Anyone that needs to spend 1 hr or more at the gym daily is most likely a body builder training for a competition. Adding weights will help reduce your time at the gym = so no…

If I could, I'd eat cake for breakfast.

Filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes, crab cakes, asparagus, braised portobello mushroom in au jus, creme brulee', and a glass of cabernet sauvignon with a lemon water chaser.

Maybe do a light walk so you can consume a little more calories?
-
Could you just eat the protein and nothing else? (Assuming the portion isn't super huge).

I'm currently working on getting fit for a Tough Mudder event in my area in 2020. Focus has been on eating healthy and more specifically, about 1200 calories per day. I'm slowly building on exercise for endurance and a little weight training for muscle tone. It's all about aging gracefully amirite? lol

I think staying well hydrated helps fend off some rough-around-the-edges face aging. Not a ton, but a little.
