I guess it would depend... If it's a cheat day, I'll indulge a little more than normal. If I'm trying to watch my caloric consumption, vegetables and protein.

Due to a hectic schedule we've been eating at restaurants a little more (not fast food). Each time, I eat only half of what's on the plate for portion control. Otherwise, I'm grabbing blueberries, walnuts, cold cuts, carrots, brocccoli, steaming rice, baking chicken, mixing corn in with w/e when I'm not cooking. (I guess I…

Awesome! Not sure I can get up that early but I can try!

If you're eating sugar... or anything that can be converted to sugar (bread, beer, etc) cut back on consuming those. Not to mention, because you're working out, you may not lose looking at the scale. You may be converting fat into muscle mass!

Thank you everyone for your responses! It's helpful to get other's perspectives. Wearing a fitbit, giving myself positive reinforcement & considering not forcing myself to workout every single morning are great suggestions. It should definitely lessen some of the challenges of working out. Thanks again!

It's been awhile since I've been on here, but it's time to get back to healthier living! I have to say MFP is great when it comes to micromanaging. Happy exercising & eating!

I have returned as well! However with a lot more weight than when I was on last -roughly a year ago. In light of this gain I intend to lose and get healthy again. My boyfriend offers a lot of support which helps hitting the gym and I didn't realize how much MFP offered in terms of micro-managing food intake. Best of wishes…

Since I've changed my (a good portion) of my style of food, the times I eat unhealthy it's like a mild food hangover. I don't feel super good and actually crave healthy foods right after.

I ate 4K in one day. I think I ate butter and sugar with every meal somehow along with an extra side of carbs!!! (I don't plan on doing it again anytime soon of course) but I have to say, I was in awe of it. Totally a "DAAAMN!" moment. lol

I've ordered the cold cut combo... no cheese, no mayo, no mustard. It's all vegetables with the cold cuts on wheat then oil, vinegar, salt & pepper. If possible, I'll eat half at lunch and the other half at dinner. :) Hope this helps.

I do the same as well. :) One, it just feels good and two, I think it's preventative maintenance from hurting too much.

Use a bad pick up line, or just make him laugh some other way... it'll keep his attention and give an excuse to say something himself.
