Thanks ladies for the advice and apologises for not replying sooner. Your advice has been very much appreciated and has helped me piece together what the hell my body is doing! :) ***Just an update*** It has been 3 weeks since I've come off the pill. The constant hunger and the bleeding has stopped so I'm just keeping an…

My stomach bloat isn't really related to my PCOS as I am Gluten Intolerant as well but two teaspoons of Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar mixed with a glass of water helps to relive my bloating with an hour :)

Thanks for the reply acupofcoffee it's good to hear what others have experienced :) Thankfully I haven't gotten any acne - then again I never really had much of a problem with it before starting the pill. Fingers crossed it doesn't start up now!

Hi Eve23! Food allergies sure are tough! I am allergic to cow's dairy, eggs and sulphites which makes cooking and buying GF foods a little harder but you are right it can be done. I've done it once with the other allergies and I know with a bit of will power I can do it again. I will send you a friend request :)

Thanks for your replies! I will send you both a friend request now! @crmolle - I am also Dairy Free! :) @tlou5 - thanks for your concerns! I also apologise as my post wasn't very clear. I had blood work done on Thursday and went off the gluten after the blood test. I had read about gluten needing to be in your system when…

As a previous poster mentioned you need to stop shaving the hairs. When we shave, the hairs tend to grow back thicker every time - which is most probably the cause of the 5 o'clock shadow. If you can afford it and don't mind a needle been put into your pores maybe try electrolysis as it will kill the root of the hair and…

Sorry that you have had a difficult moment. Don't give up hope though, it will happen for you.

Feel free to add me (and that offer is open to everyone :) ) I was diagnosed when I was 16 ... So nine years ago now. Using metformin and BC to "manage it" but since losing some weight have been having some issues so hoping to get them sorted when I see my gynaecologist in July.

From my understanding of a gluten free diet I would only adopt it if you have have a sensitivity or an intolerance (like celiac disease). There is all this hype around about gluten being bad for you but in actual fact gluten is a protein so cutting that from your diet also means cutting protein. Aside from that if you go…

As long as you eat it in moderation and not everyday then it is fine to have it every once in a while :)

Not sure how well know the song Reckless by Australian Crawl is outside of Australia but this misheard lyric always makes me giggle. Misheard: Yo throw down your buns, yo disco necklace Actual: So throw down your guns, don't be so reckless

Thanks everyone! I've downloaded a session onto my iPod which I will listen to tonight before bed (it's the only time I have without someone bugging me about something) and I'll see how I go :)

As someone has mentioned both you and your wife have worked hard to establish this business - don't let these people take that away from you. I would suggest going to the police and reporting it. Also I'm not sure if it works this way where you are (I'm in Australia and we can do this here) but ask for a copy of the report…

Thank you for your replies! I have read a little bit about it but was not 100% sure. Do either of you have any recommendations on guided programs? I've seen a few on YouTube but am not sure how good they are. Is there anything in particular I need to look for when choosing a guided program?

I have heard the same thing about gluten free and that it can also aid arthritis. However, there can be a downside to going gluten free if you do not have a gluten sensativity, a wheat intolerance or are not celiac. If this is an option you are considering run it by a health professional as they will be able to tell you…

Over the years I even a number of dieticians and have heard some ridiculous suggestions. The one I'm about to tell you left me scratching my head for a while to say the least. I was told that if I really want schnitzel I should make it without the breadcrumb and just fry the meat on it's own. I walked out of their office…

The Love Boat Theme Song - except it's the instrumental version they use on the closing credits of the show.

Guys who stand in front of the mirror checking themselves out and flexing their muscles for ages at the gym. Really who are they trying to impress? (Oh and just for the record I'm not trying to be nosey. When you are at the gym and the treadmill is facing the mirror while you're on their it's kind of hard not to notice lol)
