I go to the GNC and weigh myself there. I do try watch my calories mostly during the week and I am currently on Month 2 of Insanity. Hopefully it's just water and not muscle I'm losing!

Yea that's why I stopped paying attention to the scale, as long as I see a difference that is all that matters. I will try eating more calories, and I will see how that goes. Also mixing it up sounds good, I will try that as well...thank you!

I get what you mean, I have seen that myself! I love beachbody workouts I have TF and have done a few HIIT workouts when I'm short on time but haven't done the whole program. So far they have given me amazing results in little time. But I wanted to change it up a little and try that book.

You are right, I had that feeling when I was there! The only reason I went is because it was free but other than that he will not be someone I would go to in the future.

The reason he told me that he took me to the elliptical was because he wanted to show me about my target heart rate. I told him the reason I was there was to learn how to use the machines and if he can show me. Yea I think his goal was to convince me that whatever I was doing was wrong and to go with him with at least 3 sessions and he can get me to where I want to be. Thx for the advice :)

I have done the TF 20min workout and I burn around 175 cals. How many times did you check your HR? I check it a lot, and tend to wear the watch tight so it can read my HR better.

I'm on my second round of Insanity and I use Mio Classic Select Heart Rate Monitor Watch bought it on amazon in the $30s. I didn't want to spend to much on one and I like it, it does it's job. I'm on Recovery week as well! This is my 2nd Round and I am not losing weight either but I have learned not to pay attention to weight. Being that I didn't lose anything on the 1st Round, but I sure did lose inches and toned up! Good Luck!

I just finished Insanity a week ago and started Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30 on Monday. L1 on Monday was easy so the 2nd day I tried heavier weights and it seemed to make it a lil better. But I am not sore at all, hopefully the rest gets a lil more challenging! If not I will be starting Turbo Fire Soon!!!

I had a question though, can I skip to any level I want? I just thought L1 was easy for me. I was thinking of trying all levels this week to see which one I like best and go from there.
