  • It's the upc from the container. I make them from scratch not from a pack.
  • I think this is my third one. I've never had this problem before. How long did it take for the Vit E and Primrose to help?
  • I'm 53 and this is the first time that I have had this pain well at least that I noticed. I have a Mirena so I haven't had a period since about 2 years ago after the replace/not replace issue when my gynaecologist thought I was in menopause.
  • Thank you all for your responses. I will check out the other websites. I do prefer to use a scale.
  • I'm just recovering from a cardiac incident as well. I will agree it certainly is an eye-opener. I didn't have a heart attack though. My enzymes were elevated but all other tests came back negative. Final diagnosis was pericarditis caused be a virus. So far I've lost 12 lbs. 25 more to go! I'm working with a…
  • I've lost a bald eagle with a toupe. (A little over 12 lbs)
  • I don't post a lot in any threads, but I do enjoy reading this one. I think I have posted twice in this thread, so I would consider myself a lurker. But I had to reply to this negativity. I think this thread is very helpful to new people to this forum. This one has no judgment. Well most of the time. :) This thread makes…
  • I had bought a fitbit force - the one that was recalled. It finally did end up giving me a rash. I returned it to the store I bought it at a year later. A year because I bought it while on vacation and I wasn't back there until a year later. I was lucky they accepted the return. Just be careful how much you push yourself.…

  • Too funny Bill. I am lol.
  • Take the number directly from the recipe builder and compare it to what gets posted in you daily meal plan when you put it in. Yesterday I put in a recipe for popovers which only had 4 ingredients. I added up the total calories and divided by the number of servings. It was correct in the recipe but when I added to the…
  • I entered a few recipes into the builder recently and when the calculate the calories it's not posting it correctly to my daily food log. It shows correct in the recipe though. Just to let you know.
  • If I want something bubbly I have sparkling water. Just watch as it may have sodium in it.
  • I have to agree with the poster above. I wonder if this is a troll. Me, I'm just enjoy reading this thread and don't post often.
  • Pick a different strawberry in the database. The one I chose does show sugar. Click on the nutrients link when picking and it will tell you how much of everything.
  • I'd like to be a pant size smaller - US size 12. I'd also like my heart inflammation to be done with. I need to rest, not push myself, and take my anti-inflammatory. I would like to be able to start exercising again and getting my knee back into shape after my scope.
  • I went to Weight Watchers a few years ago. I have tried that and a few other breads that are lower in cals and/or carbs. Our WW group leader said that she still ate regular bread because it made her stomach feel fuller. I have to agree with that. I have used both, but I find I can last longer with the regular bread. That…
  • I have to agree with this.
  • I do the same thing. I also try to find the nutritional information before I go so I know what to order.
  • This is the reason I have the Mirena! One less thing to worry about. lol
  • If you use a computer, you can copy a meal from a specific date. You still need to weight and measure the amounts though. When I use my ipad or iPhone I can copy a meal from yesterday. I find this helps. You can also create your own meals so it's easier to copy from day to day.
  • I log my vitamins. My calcium actually has 8 calories. I don't have a preference to any specific brand. I look at ones that are easy to swallow.
  • I hate to say this, but I can't exactly remember. I had a mirena IUD put in and it stopped my periods. Hot flashes probably started in mid 40s. At 51 the gynaecologist did blood work and told me I was in menopause so he took out my IUD. Well I got my period so I guess I'm not. I had the IUD put back in. I don't want to…
  • I cut mine in half and freeze the other part for another day. Make sure you pick the right entry for when you weight it. Ie before or after cooking.
  • My cardiologist told me today I had to ease up on my exercise. I'm going to try to space it out a bit more so hopefully I don't get the chest pain. The pain is more of a discomfort but he doesn't want that. I understand but it is frustrating. I'm trying to recover from knee surgery. He also put me on half days for work.
  • A good discussion. Right now I'm just recovering from some health issues, so my exercise would not count for much. I am doing leg/knee strengthening exercises and some small weights at home under the supervision of a physiotherapist. If I ate slightly over my calories I make sure I go for a walk to counteract. I just don't…
  • I have them give me laughing gas if I have any work done. Takes the stress out of it and I'm okay to drive after.
  • I do the same as ignatca. Watch labels though, sometimes there are other brands that have less sodium than the ones with the "Sodium Reduced" in big letters on the label. I find if it's less of something, it's always higher of something else. i.e. less sugar, more fat
