Last October I bought a nice blue wool blazer for myself for my birthday. It was a size 52R and fit nicely. I just bought a new blazer, a slim fit 48R. It fits perfectly. 4 inches off my chest.

I'd like to get past 50 lbs lost (halfway to my goal) by my birthday, Oct 31. I'm at 45 lbs. By the end of the year I'd like to be around 60-65 lbs lost.

NSV in-progress: started week 4 of C25K. Also signed up for a 5K happening at work for Sept 9.

Today was week 2, day 2 of C25K for me. The first few runs I was around 18:30 min per mile. Today was 17:45. It's feeling better as I'm going!

This is so difficult. I usually eat lunch at home with my family, but once or twice a month I go out with coworkers. They typically get beers and burgers with fries. I have a research conference I'm going to at the end of July. I'll get to see my friends and professors from grad school. I want to be under 240 by then, making me lighter than I was at any time in grad school. 14 lbs to go. I can do this.

Last year I was wearing 19 inch dress shirts and couldn't button the collar without choking myself. The rest of the shirt would feel fine, just the neck would be tight. Now those shirts are baggy on me. Today I buttoned an 18.5 inch dress shirt. This one is a better fit throughout.

Last November my wife and I welcomed daughter #2. Then for Christmas I got an Apple Watch and decided not to waste its capabilities. I bought some dumbbells, threw out a lot of junk food, and have focused on logging my food and planning my day out.
