  • wtg that is such an achievement x
  • Toast a whole wheat eng muffin. Slice the hard boiled egg into 4 pieces. Microwave 1 or 2 cups of spinach to steam cook it for 1 min or so. Place eng muffin on a baking tray. Drain spinach and place half on each muffin. Place 2 pieces of egg on each half. Season if you want to. Smear some light mayo over the top and broil…
  • I am set at 40 carbs, 30, 30 too. When I first started the journey I was eating 50 carbs, 30 fat, 20 protein. It takes some work but is not impossible, whereas when I initially tried protein at 40 there was just no way that was working out and I was feeling like I was failing all the time. Tbh I dont hit 40, 30 30 all the…
  • Still around, still working at it. Right now trying to lose what I put on in Dec having some good days and sadly many hard ones right now. It is not that I do not care about anyone else or that I am throwing in the towel. It is just sometimes when this gets hard for me all I can do is try to keep logging, ignore everyone…
  • Thanks Pat, and you are right about that idea of letting go. Oh well. The new gadget is motivating to get some exercise in, and the temptations are less though still here. I think if DH does not eat it I am going to chuck it out in a day or two. Need to start getting my fridge and freezer looking better.
  • Brilliant achievement xxx
  • omg that is an awesome NSV. I shall add that to one to look forward to for super motivation. Yeah for Hugs!!
  • I do not know anything about your leg problem but as for exercise all I can add is do not feel like you have to get in 30 minutes all at once or that you have to start at that number. If 5 minutes of slow walking is how you need to start then that is fine. After a few weeks you can stretch it out to 10, or maybe add in a…
  • 1) yes I would be up for that but I am rubbish at thinking up those kinds of things so just count me in on most of them. 2) I now have to go watch that film for the billionth time ;)
  • woohoo wtg brilliant achievement I am so happy for you xx
  • My NSV today was cooking a pack of bacon for DH and son and having a quarter of a piece, so a small bite. I stuck to what I had planned.
  • Wtg Pat
  • Right now I am a SAHM working part time at home. In the UK I was a Primary school teacher and I have hopes of one day getting back to it. I used to weigh in and log it whatever happened once a week. But then I hated those times when it was going in the wrong direction so I stopped and started just logging losses. But then…
  • Yeah before this started I was oblivious. Then at the er for an asthma attack they were scared for my high bp I got put on meds. Made an appt for my doc and the idea of getting off those meds in 6 months was why I began again on this journey. 2 years almost I think later I have not lost as much as I hoped, I am not only…
  • Glad you are where you wanted to be Pat. It is amazing how long it has been, it feels like forever and then not any time at all. You look good, (love the yellow jacket  ) and you sound like you are in a better place in your head as well as in your health and that is just as important. Big birthday hugs x
  • LOL. Well at least it got done. Well done, I know that was hard for you but I bet it looks a lot better and feels a lot better. x
  • Glad to hear it Julie YAY
  • shballa from what I've read you may be able to fit into some rides now. Most places seem to focus more on size than weight, so tall or wider people cannot always get in some rides either. I have also read that at some places they have test seats so you can check yourself to see if the harnessing fits you. And apparently…
  • Hi Carly, tired but around :) Getting back into the swing of exercising each day. Witches fingers are a cookie thing I found this year that I am making with Dean for his class. I have never heard of them before this year either. http://www.simplysogood.com/2011/10/creepy-witchs-fingers.html
  • YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS WTGGG I am so proud you did this! Shame it was not the most awesome thing ever but really that wasn't the point. It was having the courage to face the weight issue AND the height issue. And you did it. Bloody hell that is so amazing. I cannot believe your thread title is not all in caps lol…
  • Great loss good on you. I am finally getting over my terrible throat infection. Was able to go for a very brisk walk today, shorter than normal but I am going to build it back up again after my week off and being in bed with a fever etc. Right now I am looking at what I need to do to control myself during Halloween. 1)…
  • YEAH PAT. Well done on achieving it, sounds like it was beautiful along the way. And great job for not using the rain as a reason not to do it. You know maybe you could treat yourself to a newer bike when you hit one of your big goals.
  • Smile!! lol
  • WTG
  • Struggling with a throat infection or tonsillitis and feeling crappy. Definitely NOT winning today cranky Carly. Hope your day gets better hun
  • Nothing as specific as that. I did go canoeing this summer despite it being in shallow water which I would never have tried a year ago. But nothing that has weight limit yet. Caroline it is such an amazing step already that you are just thinking of doing it. With the weight plus the heights (I have that fear too) it is…
  • Have a boy so to let you know while we did teach him to shake he also does 'dab dab'. Uses toilet tissue to dab at the end otherwise you get dribbles. ;)
  • I got stuck there for 6 months (at 247) I nearly just gave in. But somehow managed to try again and finally shifted down into the 30s and 20s. Now of course the 20s do not want to let me go lol.
  • lol *kitten* yeah!
  • Ahh welcome back Dee we missed your butt :) Glad you are in a better place now hun x
