I was also surprised about my feet getting smaller. And the necklace thing is certainly true as well, along with ring size. I lost two rings sizes.

I've actually lost over 100 pounds over the past year and I ate popcorn many many nights as a way to satisfy my need for snacking. Although, I chipped a tooth on popcorn last week and saw the dentist yesterday and I have three chipped teeth, not just one. Ugh! So, beware of the hard kernels if you eat a whole lot of it. :)

To look good, be sexy, live longer. All of that.

Ha! This is hilarious. I'm going to try it the next time I run. LOL

This is wise advice. LOL

I eat most of my carbs for the day, and most of my calories for that matter at NIGHT (because this is when I like to eat and when I'm most hungry) and I've lost 112 pounds because I'm eating the right things, eating at a calorie deficit, and being physically active. It doesn't matter when you eat what you eat. (Within…

Those bagged hot fries and hot cheetos... I could eat the whole bag. Also, chips, salsa, and white cheese dip from the local mexican restaurant. I ate that regularly.

You can do it! Good luck on your journey.

I also work out right after work. I agree with previous poster who says it helps work off the stress of the day. I'm a night owl, so this sort of activity timing works for me. It doesn't interfere with my sleep or dinner or anything. In fact, I think I probably sleep better on those days because I'm more physically tired.

I agree with the Starbucks comment... and that goes for any drinks with calories, I prefer not to drink my calories - I like to eat them.

This is fantastic. LOL

Yes, I did. I was mostly walking, but I would throw in a jog here and there. I would go as far as I could and then keep walking. I was around your weight then.

Thank you for sharing! Your story sounds a lot like mine. AWESOME job! Keep it up!

It varies based on the day (I'm influenced by the types of things I see around me) but I often want rice/ sushi, fried stuff (chicken, fries, etc.), pizza... so mostly my cravings revolve around carbs! :) I don't really crave it for very long though, because instead of thinking about it I will go do something productive or…

I like the dark chocolate sugar free Jello pudding cups with whipped cream on top. Yum. It's about 75 calories with the whipped cream.

My favorite comment is when people say that I will gain it all back. I'm kind of glad I get all of these comments, in a way, because I will know what it sounds like and know not to ever say these sorts of things to someone.

I haven't eaten this in a long time, but the toaster sandwiches or burgers at Sonic are over 1000 calories. OMG. They aren't even that good.

Some have said this already... but Goodwill is awesome! I picked up some dress pants and capri pants last weekend... along with some shirts.... and only spent $22. It's a lifesaver!

It took at least 50 pounds or maybe a bit more before people noticed my weight loss... I wasn't offended or hurt... I just know that most people are not that observant or they weren't "sure" that I had lost weight.

WONDERFUL! Congratulations on taking your life back.

Protein sources and healthy fats really help keep you feeling full... research some protein/ fat combo snacks and find your favorites! Good luck. :)

I personally didn't like the taste at all of Quest bars. I like Nugo Slim bars much better. They have around 19g carb with 7g fiber = 12g net carbs. I really like the raspberry truffle a lot. They are dipped in real dark chocolate and don't have any sugar alcohols or any artificial sugars.

I do eat a 1260 calorie diet and I mostly stick to it. If I go over, I try to balance it out with a deficit on another day. I also exercise every other day, so that helps. I don't find myself craving more food and I don't feel starved -- but I know everyone is different! I also modify my macros to be lighter on the carb…

This is amazing. When I started, I was also around 295. I have currently lost 76 pounds and have about 50 more to go. I have also become much more active walking and jogging. Congratulations on reaching your goal!
