  • Thanks for all of you alls input. @jp09m I agree. I will say that its like peacefu time. I feel more relaxed and kind of free when I get out of the steam room. I also noticed that I am controling my breathing, I feel like it opens my lungs up or something.
  • Burning 1200 cals.. No problem.. Eating only 1200 cals. WHEW i will try my hardest * _*

  • I am a compulsive over eater. Binge to the max. I will do GREAT for 3 wks, and then followed by a week of nothing but overeating and eating anything and everything that i can get my hands on. Regardless if I'm binge eating apples, or binge eating skittles. I eat when I'm sad, I eat when I'm happy, I eat when I bored. I…
  • You are right. It is so much easier to be unhealth. Its cheaper too. But the thing is your health is an investment. Its tough, but some sacrfices just have to be made. I dont listen to everything people say, because I think about how i wont go broke trying to do what they say, it may take me a longer time to get where I…
  • I was the same way as you. The thing is you have to get your body used to working out, you may get bored, you are human. I am 23, I am 6 ft tall, and weigh 290. I feel great bc ive lost 15 pounds. I wanna run, im young, i dont have problems you know? My body has gotten accustom to handling me walking and being over 300…
  • On July 1st I burnt 1472 . That's thanks to a hr of cardio (treadmill/elliptical) in the morning and 1 hr of Zumba that night. I only count cardio i do on machine, and my dance class that i used a HRM on. I do not count all the play dancing, cleaning or evening walking i do outside due to me not knowing my real calories…
  • Day one and ive got about 1400 calories burnt, and about 2 hrs of exercise! Morning and night time excersing will help me reach my goal! Im ready :)
  • I am a Public Safety Dispatcher (911 Operator) and I love it :)
  • The way i see it is you have to calculate the amount of food you eat each day. They say..who ever they are, that we burn about 2000 cals a day just existing. So if you eat a average 1500 cal food intake and dont exercise at all, you should lose a pound. To lose one pound you have to burn 3500 cals. Just imagine what you…
  • Everyone is right. I am going to strive for 1 protein shake a day. Also, trade healthy choice dinners for poss grilled chicken salad. Dinner? Who knows. I pretty much have oatmeal for brkfast everyday with strawberries, it truly fills me up and i dont get hungry until like 2pm. I eat breakfast at 10a. So yea, and i must…
  • @ arc918 Very True!
  • Thanks Shelly for the tips!
  • ALSO, if you eat all the calories you burn through working out then i dont get the purpose of working out?
  • @brandiuntz I have had my thyroid check and my levels are normal. I take an ample amount of supplements. I will say I only work out on my days that I have off, because I get off late, and getting up early is just not something I will do.
  • THANKS! Everyone! As for those who suggest more water.. Heres the deal. I work as a dispatcher. We work 10-12 hr shifts. I drink about 8 ounces of water a hr, and i already make a lot of trips to the restroom (1 every hour) every time i leave my station i have to have someone literally listen to my radio. So me consuming…
  • YOU are very right. I like the idea of knowing how many calories that product is.. then working out that many calories, then have the "ttreat". You hold yourself accountable versus, eating it..then telling yourself you will work out later.
  • I am right with you. I went Texas Roadhouse the other day and consumed like 900 calories, and i ate as healthy as I could. Honestly pissed me off cuz if i knew it was going to be that bad I would have got a big juicy steak. But i get where your coming from. To me it is like a eating disorder. I have been researching after…
  • @tuffytuffy1 Thanks! I have tried a lot of different stuff for my lack of energy. The whole tired all the time deal. Doesnt matter if i sleep 4 hrs or 12. I will say eating better, and working out has made me feel a lot better than before. I take a vitamins and what not.. I also found out that I am anemic so I just started…
  • @fridayjustleft04 I have not tried those chips, but I will be doing my grocery shopping this week, and will have to check those out. Thanks!
  • I found out what my body fat percentage was. Then looked at what my body percent fat SHOULD be and set that as an ideal goal weight for me. If i loose 75 pounds and it looks like i lost 100 then..I may be fine with that. I havent been under 200 pounds in a VERY long time, so I shall see and play it by ear as time goes by.
  • I realize most of you are right. Life style change not a diet. I cant help but want fast results. U know you keep at one way for a couple weeks and those two weeks for like months, and even though the scale may give a slight change.. I mean seriously i need eneregy etc. But really.. at what cost? Thank you all bunches for…
  • THANK YOU all for your commentary. Makes a lot of sense. I think that pnieuw is right.. If i want a bag of chips.. I will just exercise the amt of calories it is so i can have it.. Maybe after burning 300 calories Ill realize that little bag just isnt worth it!
