also, make sure you set realistic goals and make changes that you can handle. in the past i have set goals too aggressively and ended up abandoning my regimen after a few weeks. just make positive changes every day and you will see improvement over time!

can you bike to work? i started doing that and burn an extra 600 calories (estimated) a day. it takes only about 5 minutes longer than driving, too.

ha! I love chips. I have convinced myself that salad is healthy nachos. also slice all kinds of veggies and dip in anything. cottage cheese is nice but and full of protein. hummus, white bean dips, salsa of all kinds. once I pureed some carrots and used carrots to dip.

omg i cannot imagine working out on top of being a mom. I babysit a little girl every so often and afterward i'm just exhausted from all the running around and jumping and rolling on the ground and dancing. last night we jumped up and down for 20 minutes straight and then had a my little pony dance party for the next hour.…

I log it under cardio. i think a while ago i found a site that would estimate how much you burn/ hour. for me 20 minutes of shred burns about 254 Calories
