Also, if after 5 years he's not ready to marry you and you want to be a married women one day, then it's time to move on.

I know it's hard, but if this relationship isn't what you want, leave. Do not bring children into it, if it's not everything you dreamed of and more. There are so many great guys out there - you will find one when you realize you are worth it!

I have an open food diary.

My fave new snack / dessert / breakfast is: 1 banana, 1 tsp each of Laura Schudders all natural chunky peanut butter and unsweetened cocoa powder. Mash everything together with a fork until pudding-like consistency. It's delicious, filling and healthy.

Sex can help keep you from snacking after 7. Turn off the TV and have some sex.

I agree with what she says above here Dawn. Check out my diary. I am NEVER hungry. Granted, I eat a lot of homemade stuff, but it really is filling me up. I would never spend 377 calories on non nutritious food. WIth only 1200 cal a day, I check the "reports" section regularly to make sure I'm getting the recommended daily…

What are Macros in reference to diet?

Love the recipe. Thanks for sharing.

Yikes, what an awful thing for her to say. When I got a job my husband (now my ex) said, "Great, less time for you to shop". So the rudest thing anyone said to me was to inquire about my due date. I was not pregnant. Speaking of the ex, while we were married he used to describe me as a "skinny fat girl". He also said he…

I love all these ideas. Yum! You people are all awesome.

Here are some ways I get my picky eaters to eat their veggies: Pasta Sauce I peel a whole eggplant, cube it and steam it. Next I puree it with my favorite (homemade) pasta sauce and my kids have no idea they are eating eggplant. You can do the same with zucchini too. Omlete Grate zucchini or chop fresh spinach and add it…

Well said! I agree that it helps our success if we don't restrict ourselves too much. The trick is staying within our calories & portion control. I don't trust myself to eat just a little, so I'm not there yet. I hope to soon be able to eat just one scoop!

Yes, you can lose weight if you stay under your calorie goal. But you will lose weight faster if you don't eat back all your calories. Remember the feeling of wanting to lose weight? Doesn't that outweigh the temporary enjoyment of eating the chocolate bar? It might make you even happier to say no to it, plus you may feel…

It sounds good. Add some veggies like shredded cabbage, green beans or tomatoes and beans and a whole grain like barley or quinoa and you will have a very healthy delicious meal.

I like Jay Rob's Vanilla. I mix it with unsweetened almond milk and frozen raspberries, chia seeds, and ice blend it. Sometimes I do unsweetened almond milk, dates, peanut butter, unsweetened cocoa powder and a scoop of the Jay Rob vanilla. Very delicious.

That sounds really good. Do you know how many calories?

Sounds amazing! Can't wait to try it. Thanks for sharing.

If you want to cut your sodium, cut out processed food. Instead of bottled dressing, (even fat free!), try making your own. No canned food. Substitute fresh raw spinach that you can quickly wilt or saute. Use lemon to flavor your veggies rather than salt. Buy fresh ground turkey breast and form your own patties. You will…

I signed up 2 years ago and NEVER logged back in until 4 days ago. These last 4 days have been the motivation I was lacking and I'm really glad to be back. I especially like to help motivate others, as it helps me as well. So, I am open to adding anyone who wants to mutually help each other stay active, healthy and…

I agree with this. The more I read about unhealthy food, the more I think about how hard it is to work it off. The more I read about healthy food and look at the chart to see if I'm meeting my daily requirements of calcium or iron, the more I choose food that will add to my iron or calcium intake. Have you monitored your…

I would not take it. But here's something that REALLY helps curb my appetite. I drink Yogi Green Blueberry Slimlife tea. I think maybe any green tea is good, but I like the blueberry flavor of this one. I've been drinking it for months and I just read the ingredients, it lists Garcinia cambogia as an ingredient! It doesn't…

I like the germy hand advice!

I've had this happen to me as well. The only thing that worked was to picture the food with something disgusting on it. Imagine flies or bugs, (or worse!). You have to play a mental trick on yourself and literally imagine it being befouled by something unappetizing. I know this sounds gross and weird, but it worked for me.…

Thanks for the motivation! I accept the challenge. How do we keep track? Honor system?

Your best friend gave you great advice! Remember, this too shall pass. Your wanting to binge right now is temporary. Yogi brand green blueberry slimlife tea absolutely helps get rid of your cravings. Walk to the store and buy some. Good luck!

Stay stron. I don't have any magical answer. Just try to remember what motivated you to begin in the first place. Think about how hard it was to stay on track the last 50 days and how awful you will feel if you do give in to junk food. Go outside right now! Walk, get some fresh air, break a sweat. This feeling of wanting…

I wanted to add that you can eat a small baked potato topped with fresh chunky salsa. It's under 200 calories and filing! Or top your baked pot with non fat cottage cheese, green onion and ground turkey or chopped veggies for dinner. It's not bad for you!

I know someone who lost 5 lbs in a month by eating whole baked potatoes topped with fresh chunky salsa only. It's portion control. Sorry you have carb addiction. This site is for weight loss. Not everyone is following a low carb diet. When I demonize certain foods, I begin to obsess over them and eventually fail. I'm…
